மால்வண்ணன் தாள்தாமரை அடைவோமென்று !! Aippasi Pournami 2025

 

Moon has enamoured mankind since centuries !  - Wednesday, Nov 5, 2025  was  Pournami, full moon. ‘ Super full moon’ , the biggest and brightest of the year,  as the Moon  came  closest to the Earth in its orbit. Its attraction is therefore tenfold, and with it, our feelings and sensations.   

நிலா அது வானத்தின் மேலே என்று அழகாக தெரிவது சந்திரன்.  நிலா,  நிலவு, அம்புலி, திங்கள், மதி, சந்திரன்- என பல பெயர்களில் அழைக்கப்படுவது  புவியின் ஒரேயொரு நிரந்தரமான இயற்கைத் துணைக்கோள். "நிலா' என்பதற்கான பொருள் "ஒளி' என்பதாகும் (நிலா-ஒளி) என்று உ.வே.சாமிநாதையர் தெளிவுபடக் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார். சிலப்பதிகாரம் காதையில் , "அங்கண் வானத்து அணிநிலா விரிக்கும்; திங்களஞ் செல்வன்' என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.  இடமகன்ற அழகிய வானில் குளிர்ச்சி பொருந்திய நிலவை (ஒளியை) பரவச் செய்யும் திங்களாகிய (சந்திரன்) செல்வன் என்பது இதன் பொருள்; சந்திரனால் பரவச் செய்யப்படும் ஒளியே "நிலா'.  இன்று பௌர்ணமி.  

The brightest and largest object in our night sky, the Moon makes Earth a more livable planet by moderating our home planet's wobble on its axis, leading to a relatively stable climate. It also causes tides, creating a rhythm that has guided humans for thousands of years. The Moon was likely formed after a Mars-sized body collided with Earth. At Triplicane (perhaps in most parts of Chennai) it was disappointing as the sky was too cloudy and in the initial stages – Moon itself was not visible.  When seen, it was not as bright with rain clouds hovering over it.

எம்பெருமான் ஸ்ரீமன் நாரணனே மிகவும் உயர்ந்தவன்.  அந்த கரியமேனியனான எம்பெருமானுடைய திருவடித் தாமரைகளில்  பல்வேறு மணம் கமழும் புஷ்பங்களை ஸமர்ப்பித்து வணங்கி  அத்திருவடித்தாமரைகளையே  அடைவோமென்று பக்தராயிருக்குமவர்கள் -  திருநாபிக் கமலத்திற் பிறந்த பிரமனுக்கும்,  ஆடுகின்ற ஸர்ப்பங்களை (ஆபரணமாக உடம்பிலே) கட்டிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் சிவனுக்கும், நித்யஸூரிகளுக்கும் மற்றுமெல்லார்க்கும்  மேற்பட்டவராவர். அத்தகைய எம்பெருமானை அனுதினமும் வணங்குவோர்க்கு எல்லா நலன்களும் தானே அமையும்.
