Vaikasi Thiruvathirai 2023 - Swami Ramanujar

Today 23.5.2023 is Thiruvathirai in the month of Vaikasi – masa thirunakshathiram of Swami Ramanujar.  From today starts 7 day Vasantha uthsavam at Thiruvallikkeni

 

கலியுகத்தில் பிங்கல வருஷத்தில் சித்திரை மாதத்தில் திருவாதிரை திருநக்ஷத்திரத்தில், ஸ்ரீபெரும்புதூர் திருத்தலத்தில், நம்மிராமனுசன்  அவதரித்தார். "தஸ்மை ராமானுஜார்யாய நம: பரமயோகினே"  

~ we fall at the feet of the Greatest of Acharyas who is hailed as the King of all Sages.     

Ramanujacharya  travelled far and wide through the Bharatham – he went to Thiruvananthapuram, established order at Thirumala, went to Kashmeeram  to access ‘boddhayana vrutti’ – a rate treatise on Vyasa brahma sutra. While his thirumenis at Srirangam, Thirumalai, Thirupathi, Sriperumpudur, Thirunarayanapuram, Thirukachi, Thiruvallikkeni and many many more places are exceptionally prominent, there are thousands more at other temples too .. .. …. 

'கண்டவர் சிந்தை கவரும் கடிபொழில் தென்னரங்கன் * தொண்டர் குலாவும் இராமானுசன்' - என எழில் வாய்ந்த திருவரங்கத்தில் வாழும் பெரியபெருமாளுடைய தொண்டர்களால் கொண்டாடப்பட்டவரும், வேதங்களை இப்பூவுலகிலே ஓங்கி வளரச் செய்த பரம உதாரருமான ஸ்ரீ ராமானுஜரின் திருவவதார உத்சவம், ஏனைய திவ்யதேசங்களில் நடப்பதை போன்றே, திருவல்லிக்கேணியிலும் சிறப்பாக நடக்கிறது.  எம்பெருமானாரை கொண்டாடுதல்  அவர் மீது ஸ்ரீவைணவர்களின் ஈடுபாட்டைவெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.
