“Eschatology” ! ? ! : ஊழிதோறு ஊழி உருவும் பேரும் - * ஆழிநீர் வண்ணனை அச்சுதனை*

Ever heard of – “Eschatology” ! ? !   

Most observations suggest that the expansion of the universe will continue forever. If so, then a popular theory is that the universe will cool as it expands, eventually becoming too cold to sustain life. For this reason, this future scenario once popularly called "Heat Death" is now known as the "Big Chill" or "Big Freeze". If dark energy—represented by the cosmological constant, a constant energy density filling space homogeneously.  Stars are expected to form normally for 1012 to 1014 (1–100 trillion) years, but eventually the supply of gas needed for star formation will be exhausted. As existing stars run out of fuel and cease to shine, the universe will slowly and inexorably grow darker.  According to theories that predict proton decay, the stellar remnants left behind will disappear, leaving behind only black holes, which themselves eventually disappear as they emit Hawking radiation.  Ultimately, if the universe reaches thermodynamic equilibrium, a state in which the temperature approaches a uniform value, no further work will be possible, resulting in a final heat death of the universe. !!  

பஃறுளி என்பது பழந்தமிழ் நாட்டிலிருந்த இருந்ததாக அறியப்படும்  ஓர் ஆற்றின் பெயர். பல் துளி என்னும் சொற்கள் இணையும்போது பஃறுளி என அமையும். இங்கிருந்தே மாந்தரின நாகரிகம் தோன்றியதாக சில நூலாசிரியர்கள் கூறுவர்.   .. .. ..நதிகள் பற்றிய பதிவல்ல ! - வாழ்வியல் பற்றியது.  பெருமழை இயற்கை சீற்றங்கள் வரும்போதெல்லாம் ஊழிப்பிரளயம், உலகம் அழிவது பற்றிய சிந்தனைகள் பரவும்.  உலகம் அழிவது யாருக்கும் விருப்பமான நிகழ்வல்ல !   எனினும்  அப்படி ஓர் அழிவு வருமானால் என்ன செய்வது? எங்கு போவது? எப்படி இந்த அழிவிலிருந்து தப்பிப் பிழைப்பது? இதுவரை ஆசை ஆசையாய் சேர்த்து வைத்த செல்வத்தை எல்லாம் என்ன செய்வது? அன்பான குழந்தைகள், ஆதரவான உறவுகள், அறிவார்ந்த நட்புகள் எல்லாரையும் விட்டுப் எப்படி பிரிவது ??

இது சாதாரணர்களின் கவலை.   மண்ணுலகம் விண்ணுலகம் முதலான எல்லாவிடங்களிலும் எல்லாவற்றாலும் உயர்த்தி பெற்றிருப்பார் கூட உண்டே !! ; அவர்களெல்லாரையும் ஆனந்த குணத்தாலே வென்று அவர்களுக்கு எவ்வளவோ மேற்பட்டவனென்னவேண்டும்படியான நிலைமையிலே நிற்பவன்; இப்படிப்பட்ட ஒப்புயர்வற்றமேன்மை இருக்கவல்லன் ஸ்ரீமன் நாரணன் ஒருவனே.  அவன் திருவடி தாமரைகளை பற்றியவர்க்கு எந்த கவலையும் இல்லை.

 

The Universe coming to an end, mostly due to a flood, if an oft repeated theme in many theologies.  An apocalypse   is a disclosure or revelation of great knowledge. In religious concepts an apocalypse usually discloses something very important that was hidden or provides a "vision of heavenly secrets that can make sense of earthly realities".  Historically, the term has a heavy religious connotation as commonly seen in the prophetic revelations of eschatology obtained through dreams or spiritual visions. It  often  depicts -  the complete destruction of the world, preceding the establishment of a new world.   The Apocalypse, properly Apocalypse with Pictures] is a series of fifteen woodcuts by Albrecht Dürer published in 1498 depicting various scenes from the Book of Revelation, which rapidly brought him fame across Europe.  

Eschatology  is a part of theology concerned with the final events of history, or the ultimate destiny of humanity. This concept is commonly referred to as "the end of the world" or "end times".  The word arises from the Greek  éschatos meaning "last" and -logy meaning "the study of", and first appeared in English around 1844.  The Oxford English Dictionary defines eschatology as "the part of theology concerned with death, judgment, and the final destiny of the soul and of humankind".  Eschatologies vary as to their degree of optimism or pessimism about the future. In some eschatologies, conditions are better for some and worse for others !  there is some reference to Buddha describing  his teachings disappearing five thousand years from his passing,  corresponding approximately to the year 4600 CE. At this time, knowledge of dharma will be lost as well. The last of his relics will be gathered in Bodh Gaya and cremated.  There will be a new era in which the next Buddha Maitreya will appear, but it will be preceded by the degeneration of human society. This will be a period of greed, lust, poverty, ill will, violence, murder, impiety, physical weakness, sexual depravity and societal collapse, even the Buddha himself will be forgotten.  This will be followed by a new golden age !!  

Srivaishnavism is a great and simple way of life.  Vaishnavaite tradition links contemporary Hindu eschatology to the incarnation of Kalki Bhagwan on Horse – as  the tenth and last avatar of Vishnu. Before the age draws to a close Kalki will reincarnate -  simultaneously dissolve and regenerate the universe.  The cycle of birth, growth, decay, and renewal at the individual level finds its echo in the cosmic order, yet is affected by vagaries of divine intervention.  

ஸ்ரீவைணவம் ஒரு எளிய மார்க்கம்.  எம்பெருமானை நினைந்து, அவருக்கு கைங்கர்யங்கள் புரிந்து, அவர் தாள் பற்றுதலே - அனைத்துக்கும் மருந்து. சூரியன் உதிக்கும், நாட்கள் உருண்டோடி செல்லும். வருஷங்கள் மாறும். மனித வாழ்க்கையும் முடிவு பெரும்.  மனிதர்கள் வாழும் காலத்தை நான்கு யுகங்களாக பிரித்து சொல்கிறது புராணங்கள்.  அவை கிருதயுகம், திரேதா யுகம், துவாபரயுகம், கலி யுகம். இந்த நான்கு யுகங்களும் சோ்ந்தது ஒரு ‘மகா யுகம்’ அல்லது ‘சதுா்யுகம்.’ 12 மகா யுகங்களைக் கொண்டது, ஒரு மனுவந்தரம். 14 மனுவந்தரங்களைக் கொண்டது ஒரு கல்பம். இப்படியாக 30 கல்பங்கள் இருக்கின்றன. தற்போது நடந்து கொண்டிருப்பது 2-வது கல்பமான ‘ஸ்வேத வராக கல்பம்’ ஆகும்.

மனிதர்களின் கால அளவும், தேவர்களின் கால அளவும் வேறுபடும். நமக்கு ஒரு வருடம் என்பது 12 மாதங்கள். ஆனால் தேவர்களுக்கு மனிதர்களின் ஒரு வருடம் என்பது ஒரு நாள். அதன்படி 360 மனித வருடம், தேவர்களின் ஒரு வருடமாகும்.  ஒரு கல்ப காலம் என்பது பிரம்மனின் ஒரு பகலை மட்டும் குறிக்கும். பிரம்மனின் இரவு காலத்தில் எந்தவித படைப்பு நிகழ்வும் இருக்காது. எனவே பிரம்மனின் பகல் மட்டும் பிரம்மனின் ஒரு நாள் ஆகும்.  பிரம்மனின் கல்ப காலத்தில் 14 மனுவந்தரங்கள் அடங்கும். ஒவ்வொரு மனுவந்தரத்திற்கும் ஒரு மனு, ஒரு இந்திரன் வீதம், 14 மனுக்கள் 14 இந்திரன்கள் தோன்றி மறைவார்கள். (இந்திரன் என்பது ஒரு பட்டம் மட்டுமே. ஒவ்வொரு மனுவந்தரத்திற்கும் ஒவ்வொரு இந்திரன் இருப்பார்)  - நமக்கு பயம் வரும்போது, நாழிகை எனும் சிறிய அளவே ஊழிக்காலத்தை விட பெரிதாக தோன்றும்.

மாயங்களை விளைக்க வல்லவனான ஸ்ரீமந்நாராயணன் ஒருவனே பரிபூர்ணன். ஒரு காலத்தில் எல்லா உலகங்களும் உயிர்களும் தோன்றாமல் இருந்தன; பிறகு தோன்றின, ஆழிக்காலத்தில்  அழிந்தன !  அப்படிப்பட்ட பெரும்பாழ் எனப்படும் மகாப்பிரளய காலத்தில் எம்பெருமான் கணக்கற்ற ஆத்மாக்களான பொருள்களுக்கெல்லாம் பெறுவதற்குரிய மூவகைக் காரணமும் தானேயாகி நின்றான்.  அவை அனைத்தையும் காத்து அருளினான்.  இறைவனின் திருவருளை வைப்புநிதியாக பெற்றவர்க்கு ஒரு குறையும் இராது.   இதோ இங்கே ஸ்வாமி  நம்மாழ்வாரின் அமுத மொழி :  

ஊழிதோறு ஊழி உருவும் பேரும்* செய்கையும் வேறவன் வையம் காக்கும்**

ஆழிநீர் வண்ணனை அச்சுதனை*  அணிகுருகூர்ச்சடகோபன்  சொன்ன**

கேழில்  அந்தாதி ஓர் ஆயிரத்துள்*  இவை  திருப்பேரெயில் மேய பத்தும்**

ஆழி அம்கையனை ஏத்த வல்லார்* அவர்  அடிமைத்திறத்து ஆழியாரே !!.

எம்பெருமான் ஸ்ரீமன் நாரணன் தன்னடியாரை வலிய கருமங்களினுடைய மிடுக்கின் வழியிலே ஸஞ்சரிக்கிற  பஞ்சேந்திரியங்களிலும் அகப்பட்டு நசித்துப்  போகும்படி விட்டுக் கொடாதவன். கல்பந்தோறும் வடிவும் பேரும் செயலும் வேறுபடக் கொள்ளுமவனும், பூலோகத்தைப் பாதுகாக்கின்ற கடல் வண்ணனும் அச்சுதனுமான எம்பெருமானை, அழகிய திருகுருகூரில் அவதரித்த ஸ்ரீசடகோபர் அருளிச்செய்த ஒப்பில்லாத அந்தாதி ஓராயிரத்துள், திருப்பேரெயில் என்னும் திவ்விய தேசத்தைச் சேர்ந்த இவை பத்தும் கொண்டு, திருவாழியை அழகிய கையிலேயுடைய மகரநெடுங்குழைக்காதனைத் துதிக்க வல்லாராகிய அவர்கள் அடிமை விஷயத்திலே திருவாழியின் தன்மையையுடையவர்களாவார்கள்.    ஸ்ரீமன் நாராயணனின்  அடி பற்றி, அவனிடம் சேர்ந்து உய்வு பெறுவோமாக !!
