Thirukarthigai purappadu @ Thiruvallikkeni divyadesam 2020

Today 30.11.2020 is Rohini in the month of Karthigai and  Sarrumurai vaibhavam  of Sri Thiruppanazhwar.  Today being pournami, is Thirukarthigai too at Thiruvallikkeni and other divyadesams.

~ .. .. what a day today .. .. Thiruvallikkeni vasigal are feeling elated .. delighted to have His darshan .. .. after so many months Sri Parthasarathi, our Emperuman, stepped out of his gopura vasal to the delight of hundreds of devotees.

Today around 6.00 pm – Karthigai deepams were lit in all the sannathies – then in Sri Nammalwar, Sri Peyalwar sannathies, Kairavini thirukulam, thiruvadi sannathi .. .. ..  and … ..  and ..  and .. Sri Parthasarathi had purappadu alongwith Thiruppanazhwar – Perumal came out of the main entrance, then mariyathai for Swami Nammalwar, then chokkapanai – being Azhwar sarrumurai – Iramanusa noorranthathi was rendered.

It was such a joy for the last purappadu for Sri Parthasarathi perhaps was on Masi magma [9.3.2020]; then there was Gajendra varadhar thavanothsavam, Sri Azhagiya Singar thavanothsavam (3 days) and on 20.3.2020 it was Thiruvonam & Ekadasi – and on that day, purappadu was cancelled due to Corona and ever since there has been no veethi purappadu for 266 days !.

As we had glimpse of HIS coming out ~ all devotees felt that all troubles be it in the name of Corona or anything else would vanish with the karthigai deepangal dispelling darkness and distress.

We pray our Emperuman for the well-being of us all, the whole humanity. All the people get free of diseases and live happily hereafter.  Sri Periyazhwar in his Periyawhwar Thirumozhi has pasurams depicting the birth, childhood and his growing … .. here is one pasuram where he extolls the sublime beauty of Lord Krishna and wants all evils be ridden of.

இந்திரனோடு பிரமன் ஈசன் இமையவரெல்லாம்

மந்திர மாமலர் கொண்டு மறைந்து  உவராய்  வந்து நின்றார்

சந்திரன் மாளிகை சேரும் சதிரர்கள் வெள்ளறை நின்றாய்

அந்தியம் போது  இதுவாகும் அழகனே காப்பிட வாராய்.

இன்று பௌர்ணமி .. கார்த்திகை பௌர்ணமி - மிக அழகான நிலவு மேகக்கூட்டங்களிடையே ஒளிந்து விளையாடியது சிறப்பாக இருந்தது.  அந்த சந்ததிரனானவன், வீடுகளின் மேல்நிலையிலே சேரப்பெற்ற சிறப்பு வாய்ந்தோர் வாழும்  திருவெள்ளறை எனும் அற்புத திவ்யதேசத்திலே  நின்றவனே!; பிரமிக்கவைக்கும்  அழகு உடையவனே!'   -  இந்திரனும், பிரம்மனும்  ருத்ரனும், மற்றுமுள்ள தேவர்களும் - எல்லாரும்   சிறந்த மந்த்ர புஷ்பங்களைக் கொண்டு, மிக்க பக்கலில் இல்லாமலும், அதிக தூரமாய் இராமலும்   வந்து மறைந்து நின்கிறார்கள்.  இக்காலம்,  அழகிய  அந்திப்போது ஆகும். இந்த ஸந்த்யாகாலத்தில், நான் உனக்கு  ரக்ஷையாக திருவந்திக்காப்பிடும்படி  வருவாயாக !  ,...  .. .. ... என அழைத்த பெரியாழ்வாருக்காக வருகை தந்தது போல குழல் ஊதும் கண்ணபிரான் இன்று நமக்கெல்லாம்  திருவல்லிக்கேணி திவ்யதேசத்திலே சேவை சாதித்து நம்மை ரக்ஷித்து அருளினான்.

எம்பெருமான் புறப்பாடுகள் மற்றும் உத்ஸவங்கள் இனிதே எவ்வித குறையும் இல்லாமல் தொடர்ந்து நடந்தேற அவனிடமே பிரார்த்திப்போமாக !!
