ஸ்ரீபார்த்தசாரதி ஒன்பதாம் உத்சவம் "போர்வை களைதல்" : Day 9 Morning - 08022016

Today 8^th Feb 2016  is the 9^th day of Sri Parthasarathi Special  Brahmothsavam – Theerthavari.   The day’s events are sequel to that of the previous day -  i.e., ‘Thirumangai Mannan Vaibhavam’; Emperuman turning Kaliyan into his astute devotee teaching him the  ‘ashtakshara mantra’.... In symbolizing search of lost ring, Perumal has Himself covered with ‘sheets’ (போர்வைகள்) and comes incognito  - the deed of His searching is celebrated at the same place where He gave the Ultimate advice to Thirumangai Mannan.  With every circling round, one porvai is removed and aarthi performed.

Every year during Chithirai brahmothsavam – Sri Parthasarathi would have beautifully coloured silk vests.  This time, the special brahmothsavam is in Thai month – which is considered to be a cold season.  In keeping with the seasonal changes,  this time, it was so thoughtfully shawls of various hues - - Green, Red, Navy Black, White, Deep brown, Rust, Royal Blue, silk pink shawl.  What a darshan it is ….

At Car Street, Singarachari Street junction, nearer Kuthirai vahana mandapam, Sripadham Thangigal dexterously revolve carrying the pallakku – difficult yet the poise makes it so wonderful. With every revolution, one porvai [shawl] was removed accompanied by an aarthi.  The drum beats and skilful adroitness of committed sripadham thangigal – all added more colour to the beauty of Emperuman.  .. and at conclusion it was the divyadarshan of Sri Parthasarathi bedecked with jewels with no garland. Blemishless beauty.

ஸ்ரீபார்த்தசாரதிக்கு இன்று ஒன்பதாம் உத்சவம்; இன்று 'தீர்த்தவாரி''யும் கூட..  - காலை  புறப்பாடு  "ஆளும் பல்லக்கு " -  திருமங்கை மன்னனை ஆட்கொண்ட படலத்தில், பெருமாள் ஒரு கணையாழியை [மோதிரத்தை] தொலைப்பதாகவும், அதிகாலை பெருமாள்   நாச்சிமாருக்கு கூட தெரியாமல் தனது  மோதிரத்தை தேடி போர்வையுடன் வந்து,  முன்தினம் கலியன்  வைபவம் நடந்த அதே இடத்தில் நகையை தேடும் வைபவம்  "போர்வை களைதல்" என  கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. 

கலியன் வைபவம் நடந்து, திருத்தி பணி கொண்டாடப்பட்டு,  பட்டோலை வாசிக்கப்பட்ட அதே இடத்தில் பெருமாள் பல்லக்கு ஒன்பது சுற்றுக்கள் சுற்றி ஏளப்பண்ணப்படும். ஒவ்வொரு சுற்றின் போதும், ஒவ்வொரு போர்வையாக களையப்பட்டு, பெருமாள் பிறகு அழகான மலர் மாலைகள் அணிந்து எழுந்து அருள்வார்.  ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் பிரம்மோத்சவம் சித்திரையில் கொண்டாடப்படும் போது பெருமாள் அழகான பட்டாடைகள் உடுத்தி வருவார்; இம்முறை - தை பிரம்மோத்சவம் ஆனபடியால் - இந்த தடவை, அழகான பல வண்ண சால்வைகள் சாற்றப்பட்டன.
