Aani Ekadasi 2017 ~ Sri Parthasarathi Swami purappadu

Today, 20^th June 2017 otherwise would have been an ordinary day – but to those at Divyadesams, it assumes significance as today is ‘Aani  Ekadasi’.   On this  Ekadasi day at Thiruvallikkeni divyadesam, Sri Parthasarathi had grand purappadu with most beautiful floral garlands outsmarting the dazzling ornaments. 

Today He was ‘pulchritudinous’ – stunning beauty – besides the ornaments embellishing, in tune with the season, it was choicest garland. 

Boothath Azhwar  in his  ‘Irandam thiruvanthathi’  shows the easy way …. It is worshiping the Milky ocean reclining Emperuman with choicest flowers and devoted mind – that will easily lead to His fabled celestial city, which even devas yearn to reach.   

பரிசு நறுமலரால் பாற்கடலான் பாதம்,

புரிவார் புகப்பெறுவர் போலாம், - புரிவார்கள்

தொல்லமரர் கேள்வித் துலங்கொளிசேர் தோற்றத்து

நல்லமரர் கோமான் நகர்.

துக்க சாகரத்தில் கிடந்தது உழலும் நம் போன்ற மானிட பிறவிகள் என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும் என குழப்பம் உள்ளதா ?  - இதோ இங்கே பூதத்தாழ்வாரின் எளிமையான அறிவுரை :

பாற்கடலில் பாம்பணை மேல் பள்ளி கொண்டருளும் க்ஷீராப்திநாதனுடைய திருவடிகளை;மிக்க மணம்  கொண்ட பூக்களால் விரும்பி தொழும் அன்பர்கள்,  இந்திரன் முதலிய  தேவர்களுக்கும் கிடைக்கப் பெறாத  ஒளி பொருந்தித் தோன்றுதலையுடையதுமான  நித்யஸூரி நாதனுடைய திவ்யநகரமான பரமபதத்தை அடையப் பெறுவர்கள்.  இதை விட பேறு வேறு யாது வேண்டும் !!
