Sri Parthasarathi Brahmothsavam Jan 2016 : எப்போதும் திருமாலை கை தொழுவர் சென்று **

முதல் ஆழ்வார்களில் முதல்வரான பொய்கை ஆழ்வாரின் அமுத வார்த்தைகள் :  ஸ்ரீமன் நாராயணனே பரம்பொருள். அவன் திருநாமத்தை சொல்வதே வாழ்வு !

** வண்ண மலர் ஏந்தி வைகலும், நண்ணி ஒரு மாலையால் பரவியோவாது எப்போதும் திருமாலை கை தொழுவர் சென்று **

வசுக்கள் எண்மரும், ருத்திரர்கள், ஆதித்யர்கள், அச்வினி தேவர்களும் - மிக சிறந்த வாசமுடைய மலர்களாலும் ஒப்பற்ற சொல்மாலையாலும் சர்வகாலமும் எம்பெருமானது திருவடிகளையே துதித்து, திருமகள் மணவாளனையே வணங்குவதை பின்பற்றி, நாமும் அவனை  கை தொழுவோம்.

Uthsavams are festivities ~ at Thiruvallikkeni divyadesam, there are so many Uthsavams and purappadus.  Primordial among them is the 10 daylong annual  Brahmothsavam, initiated by Brahma himself at Thirukachi.  At Thiruvallikkeni it is Chithirai Brahmothsavam for Sri Parthasarathi and Aani brahmothsavam for Sri Thelliya Singar.  Last year there was balalayam followed by grand Samprokshanam and the brahmothsavam for Sri Parthasarathi could not be performed.  It is now on [from today 31.1.2016] at Thiruvallikkeni.

It is a grand occasion ~ happy time for all Bakthas.  Uthsavam started with Angurarpanam.  Today the flag was hoisted – daily there will be purappadu in various vahanams.   Legend has it  that during the Uthsavam lakhs of Devas visit the divyadesam where the celerbations are taking place,   every day both in the morning and in the evening – there will be bali (ritualistic offering taking care of such guests).  This morning there  was purappadu of Nithyasurigal – Ananthan, Garudan, Vishwaksenar and Chakrathazhwar in pallakku for ‘bali’ in eightpeedams in 8  directions.   Triplicanites are feeling happy and all bakthas are invited to be there, have darshan of Perumal in the morning and evening.
