Thiruvallikkeni Sri Parthasarathi Swami Theppa Thirumanjanam

The annual float festival [Theppothsavam] is being celebrated at Thiruvallikkeni Divyadesam and I have posted about the day 1 and day 2  festivity along with photos.  


Day 3 is of special significance, for on this day, Sri Parthasarathy has kulakkarai purappadu in the morning itself and reaches Theppam in the morning.  Thirumanjanam is performed inside the Theppam itself and Perumal takes rest inside the Theppam for the whole day.  Evening there would be usual circumambulation in Theppam, after which there will be periya mada veethi purappadu.

Was fortunate to have darshan during Thirumanjanam and here are some photos taken this morning inside the Kairavini Thirukulam.

      Madam, are you the daughter of Sri Varadha Narayana Iyengar Swami ! ... I am the maternal grandson of (late) Sri Athichozhamangalam Ramanujachariar ... and we lived in TP Koil Street for long..
