The much
awaited 'Adipurush' is set to hit the screens soon and the countdown for its
release has already begun! A grand event was held yesterday to unveil the
film's final trailer and it was attended by the film's cast and crew. Kriti
Sanon along with Prabhas and director Om Raut launched the new trailer.
It has made the entire
tinseldom standup and look for the meticulous planning as also the amount
of money that has gone into this grand trailer launch is equivalent to Kriti's
fees for the film. The event was conducted at Tirupati on a grand scale. The
entire team was present and Prabhas' fans came in large numbers. A report
suggests that about 50 lakhs was just spent on the firecrackers used for the
event. About 2.5 crore was spent for the grand launch at the Shri Venkateswara
University stadium at Tirupati. Kriti reportedly is paid around 3 crores for the film.
The stage was all set for
the pre-release event of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s highly-anticipated
mythological magnum opus, Adipurush, in Tirupati. Grand arrangements had been made after
meticulous planning and even the cast and crew have landed from Mumbai for the
mega event. But then the massive rain started pouring threatening to spoil the
mega night. However, thousands of fans
who had thronged the venue just neglected the rain. Prabhas fans were excited
to catch a glimpse of their favorite hero before they see him in his full glory
as Lord Rama. Young filmmaker Prashanth Varma, who is directing the event, had
earlier mentioned that Prabhas’ entry in the event will be a pleasant surprise
and memorable for fans.
Adipurush is an upcoming
Indian epic mythological film based on the Ithihasam Ramayana. The film is written and directed by Om Raut
and produced by T-Series and Retrophiles. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and
Telugu languages, the film stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and others. Adipurush was
announced in Aug 2020, through an official motion poster. Principal photography
commenced in February 2021 and ended in November 2021 taking place primarily in
Mumbai. The film's music is composed by Ajay–Atul. Adipurush is budgeted at
₹500 crore making it one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. The film is scheduled to be theatrically
released on 16 June 2023.
An amount of ₹250 crore is
estimated to be spent on visual effects. The music for both the Hindi and
Telugu versions of the film is composed by Ajay-Atul and Sachet–Parampara. The
first single titled "Jai Shri Ram" was released in its short version in
Apr 2023 on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. The full song was released on 20
May 2023 under the same name in Hindi and Telugu alongside dubbed versions
(Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam)
Ajay-Atul duo comprises of
brothers Ajay Ashok Gogavale and Atul
Ashok Gogavale. They won the Best Music
Direction award at the 56th National Film Awards from the Government of India
for their music in the Marathi film Jogwa in 2008. They made their debut in the
2015 Forbes India Celebrity 100 List securing a position of 82 and were placed

In a pre-release event at Tirupati Venkateswara University Grounds, Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji blessed Prabhas and his team for their upcoming mythological film, 'Adipurush.' Swamiji's speech focused on the importance of embodying the virtues of Lord Rama and encouraged the youth to emulate his ideals. He emphasized that Rama's greatness lies in his virtuous behavior as a human and that individuals have the potential to manifest such qualities. Swamiji shared the story of Shurpanakha to illustrate how Rama's goodness transcends boundaries and garners affection from all living beings.
Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji
stressed that every individual possesses the potential to manifest the
qualities of Lord Rama, the epitome of righteousness. Rama's character
exemplifies the ideals of an ideal man, a modern man who embraces his humanity
while upholding moral principles. Swamiji explained that Rama's divinity lies
in the fact that he chose to incarnate as a human to demonstrate that
individuals can follow the path of righteousness and become ideals themselves.
