Thiruvallikkeni ~ Avani Ekadasi 2017 purappadu

Oh what a day today ! – a beautiful Ekadasi day (16^th Sept 2017) [Avani 31] ~ Purattasi month would be born tomorrow.  இன்று ஸ்ரீ பார்த்தசாரதி எம்பெருமானின் அழகு கவர்ந்து இழுத்தது  ~ திருவல்லிக்கேணியை மங்களாசாசனம் செய்த பேயாழ்வார் - பக்தர்களது நெஞ்சத்துக்கு உபாயத்தை அளிக்கிறார். 

வடிவார் முடிகோட்டி வானவர்கள், நாளும்*

கடியார் மலர்தூவிக் காணும் - படியானை,*

செம்மையால் உள்ளுருகிச் செவ்வனே நெஞ்சமே,*

மெய்ம்மையே காண விரும்பு.

நாம் அதீத முயற்சி செய்தால் கூட பலன் இல்லாமல் போகலாம்; எம்பெருமான் தாமாகவே உவந்து நம் போன்றோர்க்கு தனது வடிவழகை, அவனது பொன்னங் கழலிணையை காட்டித் காட்டித் தந்தருளவேணும் என பிரார்திக்கிறார்.  எத்தகையோன் அவன் !!  -  வானவர்கள் - நித்யஸூரிகள் தங்களுடைய அழகிய முடிகளை வணங்கி நறுமலர்களைப் பணிமாறி ஸேவிக்கும்படியாகவுள்ள  வடிவழகிய நம்பி.   இப்படி அவனை காட்டக்காண்கையே செம்மையால் உள்ளுருகி செவ்வனே காணுதலாம். 

It was a great darshan today – Sri Parthasarathi Emperuman dazzled in exceptional beauty making all bakthas bow to Him and yearn  for Him more.  It was periya mada veethi purappadu on Ekadasi day, enabling bakthas to have darshan at their own place. 

Sri Peyalwar advises :  appealing to the hearts – to think, offer self and melt oneself with the desire to see Him as He really is ~ the great Emperuman to whom the celestials bow their crowned heads at His feet offering choicest fresh flowers attempting the means to see Him.   Here are some photos of that great Emperuman at Thiruvallikkeni divyadesam.
