Triplicane is abuzz with the festivities  ~ the Vasanthothsavam of Sri Parthasarathi concluded yesterday (25.5.2026).  The annual Brahmothsavam of Devathirajar starts on Thurs 28.5.2026.      In the sacred divyadesam of Thiruvallikkeni, there are Five divyadesa  Emperuman   – Shri  Parthasarathi ( Venkata Krishnar is the Moolavar); Shri Azhagiya Singar; Shri Rama, Shri Ranganatha and Shri Varadharaja.  The moolavar of Varadharajar  is uniquely  on “Garuda vahanam”. 

திருவல்லிக்கேணியில் வசந்தோத்சவம் முடிந்து, இரண்டு நாட்களில்,  ஸ்ரீ வரதராஜர் உத்சவம் துவங்க உள்ளது.  இன்று 26.5.2026 வைகாசி ஹஸ்த நக்ஷத்திரம் ~   ஸ்ரீ வரதராஜர் சின்ன மாட வீதி புறப்பாடு கண்டருளினார்.  அல்லிக்கேணியிலே தேவப்பெருமாள் மூலவரே கருட வாகனனாய் காட்சி அளிக்கிறார்.  பேயாழ்வார் அருளிச்செய்தது போல : ** குட்டத்துக் கோள்முதலை துஞ்சக் குறித்தெறிந்த சக்கரத்தான்; தாள்முதலே நங்கட்குச் சார்வு** 

 

பிறிதொருநாள்    நீர்ப் பொய்கையிலே, தனக்கு பிரியனான யானையை காத்தருள, கொடிய முதலை கழுத்து அறுபட்டு அதன் கதை முடியும்படியாய், இலக்குத் தப்பாமல் பிரயோகிக்கப்பட்ட திருவாழியை எய்த பெருமானது பாதமூலமே, நம் அனைவருக்கும்  சார்வு (பரமப்ராப்யம்) 

 

As we wait for the grand brahmothsavam of Sri Varadharaja at Thirukachi and many other divyadesams including Thiruvallikkeni, today is Vaikasi Hastham and Sri Varadharajar had chinna maada veethi purappadu. 

At times of depression and in this earthly place filled with challenges and sorrows, is there any better way than simply surrendering at the lotus feet of Sriman Narayana, who for protecting the baktha (elephant) – used His Chakra precisely to close down the mightily powerful crocodile.  Let us fall at His feet and think of Him only ~ He will take care of us totally.
