கும்மாயம் என்றால் குழையச் சமைத்த பருப்பு என்பது தெரியுமா ??
கண்ணன் கழல் இணை நண்ணும் மனம் உடையீர்*
எண்ணும் திருநாமம் திண்ணம் நாரணமே**

Swami Nammalwar shows us the path - directs devotees inclined to the lotus feet of Lord Krushna to meditate His name always – “Narayana is the mantra”. தன் அடியார்களுக்கு எளியனான கண்ணபிரானின் திருவடிக் கமலங்களை பற்றி இருப்போர் எப்போதும் அனுசந்திக்க வேண்டிய திருநாமம் "திருநாரணன்" என்கிற நாராயண சப்தமே: - சுவாமி நம்மாழ்வாரின் அமுத வரிகள். Besides chanting, one should associate things that are liked by our Emperuman and offer them to Him. The delicious butter was one close to the heart of Lord Krishna in His young age.
திருவல்லிக்கேணி பிரம்மோத்சவத்தில் எட்டாம்நாள் - காலை 'வெண்ணை தாழிக்கண்ணன் திருக்கோலம்'. மிகச்சிறந்த இதிஹாசமான மஹாபாரதத்து நாயகன் கண்ணன் தன் பால்ய பருவலீலைகள் தொடங்கி முழுவாழ்க்கையையும் பாடமாக தந்தவன். இன்று ஸ்ரீபார்த்தசாரதி, கண்ணனாக, கண்ணன் சிறுவயதில் புரிந்த பல லீலைகளுள் ஒன்றான 'வெண்ணை விழுங்கிய கண்ணனாக' –தவழும் கண்ணனாக, வெண்ணைதாழியுடன் அழகானசாற்றுப்படியுடன் பல்லக்கில் புறப்பாடு கண்டு அருளினார் உபயநாச்சிமார் தனி பல்லக்கிலும், அவர்களுக்கு காவலாக சேனைமுதல்வர் மற்றொரு பல்லக்கிலும் எழுந்து அருளினர்.
Today (10.2.2021) on the 8th day of Brahmothsvam, Sri Parthasarathi gave darshan as “Vennaithazhik Kannan” - in its early days, child would crawl and this pose is known as “தவழுதல்”. Today’s thirukolam was manifest of the deeds of young Krishna at Gokulam where, possessing mighty powers to kill Asuras, He still enthused all those around with his child plays, took loads of butter breaking the pots holding them; was tied to the trees and other objects by Yasodha and staged shows as if He was frightened by the act of Yasodha.

tasting butter from the hanging Uris.
Butter is a dairy product
containing up to 80% butterfat, solid when chilled and at room temperature in
some regions and liquid when warmed. It is made by churning fresh or fermented
cream or milk to separate the butterfat from the buttermilk. To us, this is made from holy cow to be offered to Lord,
yet butter can also be manufactured from the milk of other mammals, including
sheep, goats, buffalo, and yaks. Salt such as dairy salt, flavorings and
preservatives are sometimes added to butter. Unhomogenized milk and cream
contain butterfat in microscopic globules. These globules are surrounded by
membranes made of phospholipids (fatty acid emulsifiers) and proteins, which
prevent the fat in milk from pooling together into a single mass.
In the past,
milk was simply left standing until the cream rose to the surface, at which
point it was skimmed. Cream rises because fat is lighter than the other milk
components. Modern cream production involves a more efficient method called
centrifugation. Butter is then produced from cream via churning, which involves
shaking the cream until the milk fat — or butter — clumps together and
separates from the liquid portion — or buttermilk. After the buttermilk is
drained off, the butter is churned further until it becomes ready for
packaging.
Raw butter is made from raw cream, or cream that has not been pasteurized. Many believe that pasteurization kills not only the beneficial enzymes and nutrients but dulls flavor of the cream and the things you make from it like butter, cheese, yogurt. Miles away, raw butter sales would be legalized in Oregon under a bill that supporters say will offer new options to dairy farmers and consumers without sacrificing food safety. House Bill 2612 would allow for the sale of butter from unpasteurized milk and direct the state’s Department of Agriculture to establish grades and standards for the product. Violations of these regulations for raw butter would be punishable by up to a year in prison, a criminal fine of $6,250 and a civil penalty of $10,000.
பெரியாழ்வார் தான் அருளிச்செய்த 'பெரியாழ்வார் திருமொழியில்' கண்ணபிரானது இளமைக்காலங்கள் தொடங்கி எல்லாவற்றையும் அழகாக விளக்கியுள்ளார். கண்ணபிரான் தளர்நடை நடக்கும்போது, காலிலணிந்துள்ள பாதச்சதங்கைகள் கிண்கிணென்று சப்திக்கவும், இடையிற் கட்டிய சிறு மணிகள் பறை போலொலிக்கவும், நடக்கின்ற ஆயாஸத்தினால் உடலில் வேர்வைநீர் பெருகவும் நடக்கும் அழகை 'தொடர் சங்கிலிகை சலார் பிலார் எனவும்; கண்ணன் வெண்ணை உண்ட அழகை, " தாழியில் வெண்ணெய் தடங்கையார விழுங்கிய எம்பிரான்" எனவும் பலவாறாக அனுபவிக்கிறார்.
"கும்மாயத்தோடு வெண்ணெய் விழுங்கிக் குடத்தயிர் சாய்த்துப் பருகி, பொய்ம்மாய மருதான அசுரரைப் பொன்றுவித்து இன்றுநீ வந்தாய்" - என அவரது பாடல். குழந்தை கண்ணன் - "குழையச்சமைத்த பருப்பையும், வெண்ணெயையும், விழுங்கி விட்டு - குடத்தில் நிறைந்த தயிரை (அந்தக்குடத்தோடு) சாய்த்து பருகிவிட்டு, அசுரரை அழித்தவன். அத்தைகைய கண்ணன் "பழந்தாம்பாலோச்சப் பயத்தால் தவழ்ந்தான்" - யசோதை பழைய தாம்புக் கயிற்றை அடிப்பதாக எடுக்க, பயத்தை காண்பித்தவாறு தவழ்ந்து ஓடினானம் !". பிறிதொரு இடத்தில் "தன்முகத்துச்சுட்டி தூங்கத்தூங்கத் தவழ்ந்து போய்* - என குழந்தை கண்ணன் நெற்றியில் அணிந்துள்ள அழகிய சுட்டியானது, அவன் மாளிகை முற்றத்தில் தவழும் பொழுது அவன் அசைவதற்கேற்ப அதுவும் ஊசலாடிக் கொண்டே இருப்பதையும் பாடியுள்ளார். சில குறிப்புகளில் - கும்மாயம் என்பது ஒரு வகை இனிப்புப் பலகாரமாம் எனவும் உள்ளது. பச்சரிசி , பால் , வெல்லம் போன்றவற்றைச் சேர்த்து வேக வைத்து செய்யப்படும் இனிப்பு வகையான கும்மாயம் மிகவும் விரும்பி உண்ணக்கூடியதாம்.
இவ்வாறு தள்ளித் தளர் நடையிட்டு இளம் பிள்ளையாய் மாயக்கண்ணன் புரிந்த லீலா விநோதங்களை நினைவு கூறும் விதமாக, இன்று திருவல்லிக்கேணியில், ஸ்ரீபார்த்தசாரதி, வெண்ணை தாழிக் கண்ணன் திருக்கோலம் பூண்டு பக்தர்களுக்கு அருள் பாலித்தார். புறப்பாட்டின் போது எடுக்கப்பட்ட சில படங்கள் இங்கே :
