எம்பெருமான் கண்ணன் கன்றுகள் மேய்த்து வரக் கண்டு இவ்வையகமே மகிழ்ந்தது..

 

 

எம்பெருமான் கண்ணன் ஆநிரை மேய்த்தவன் - கோகுலத்தில் பசுக்களோடு வளர்ந்தவன்.  கோ' என்றால் பசு, 'பாலன்' என்றால் காப்பவன். பசுக்களைப் பராமரித்ததால் அவர் கோபாலன் என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்.  பிருந்தாவனத்தில் தினமும் காலையில் பசுக்களை மேய்க்க அழைத்துச் செல்வதையும், மாலையில் திரும்புவதையும் கண்ணன் பெரும் பாக்கியமாகக் கருதினார். கண்ணன் குழலூதினால், பசுக்கள் அப்படியே மெய்மறந்து புல் மேய்வதைக்கூட நிறுத்திவிட்டு அவனையே சுற்றி நிற்குமாம்...

 

Surreal   !  ~  a few years ago, at Ahobilam, took a picture of Cows returning home in the evening after grazing – with ChatGPT added the image of Lord Krishna besides adding some more cows … and here is the redrawn picture.

Embar 1000 ........ at Madhuramangalam

 

Thousands descended at the village – Madhuramangalam, famous being the  avatara sthalam of Swamy Embar.  This place is around 18 kms from Sriperumpudur and  around 50/52  from Chennai, capital city of Tamilnadu.

 

Punarvasu nakshathiram in the month of Thai 31.1.2026 marks the 1000^th (yes you are reading it right 1000) birthday of  Acharyar Swami Embar.  The vaibhavam was very grandly celebrated at his Avatharasthalam and in all divyadesangal.

This morning around 5.50 am was standing at Peyalwar Koil Street – was fortunate to have darshan of Thirumanjanakudam

 

In this video one could see kainkaryabarar Palappur Murali (65+ with some health issues) carrying the kudam filled with water for purification; Prakash playing Nadaswaram and Nagaraj on thavil – with couple of vehicles without patience trying to nudge over !!

 

Mind reminisced those days of 1970s – when as a young kid, I used to go to MAV house for divyaprabantha santhai  - those days the thirumanjana kudam procession would be far too grand – carried on Azhwan the majestic elephant of the temple from Kairavini pushkarini.
