Mahalaya Amavasyai 2016 ~ Navarathri Golu - dolls display

Today 30^th Sept. 2016  is Amavasyai (Amavasai  /New Moon day) in the month of Purattasi which  is celebrated as ‘Mahalaya Amavasai’. 

In many houses, traditionally, Navrathri golu ~ the beautiful display of dolls takes places.  Here are some photos of dazzling dolls on sale at a shop nearer Thiruther of Sri Parthasarathi Temple.
