dictionaries !

அமைதியான வாழ்க்கை முறைக்கேற்ற மனப்பக்குவத்தையும் உருவாக்கி வளர்க்கக்கூடிய ஏராளமான
நூல்களைக் குறைந்த விலையில் லிப்கோ வெளியிட்டு வருகிறது. மிக எளிய முறை விளக்கங்களும், சம்பிரதாய செய்முறைகளை
விளக்கப்பட்டு தலைமுறையினருக்கு சென்றடைய செய்வதில் இந்நிறுவனத்தின் பங்கு அளப்பரியது.

About a century ago, in 1920s, when literacy levels were not
high, a man hailing from a conservative family in Cuddalore with encouragement
from his school principal printed books and supplied them widely. Thus was born
The Little Flower Company or Lifco, which is 100+ now and still publishing
books that delight readers.
“My grandfather V. Krishnaswamy Sarma would print books in
presses that were under British control at night and take out slim volumes on
learning English on his bicycle. The books were priced very low and if people
could not afford them, he would give them for free. His lone aim was to educate
people and not make money out of it. When he was in Secunderabad in government
service and fell ill, he and my grandmother decided they have to do something
for the public,” explained T.N.C.Vijayasarathy, Chairman of Lifco.
The Little Flower Co. (LIFCO Books) a renowned Publishing
House was founded by Late Krishnaswamy Sarma in 1929, now known as LIFCO
Publishers (P) Ltd is well known for its innumerable low priced Publications
both on Religious & Education. It specializes in its various types of
Dictionary’s & earlier it was well known for its school guides. Even today, LIFCO continues to adopt low
pricing strategy, thereby creating an immense reputation for them in entire
South India.
LIFCO also runs a charitable trust which has been
contributing to various spiritual & religious activities by donating Sri
Sataris to various Vishnu temples commenced in 1930’s by Sri. Kanchi
Paramcharya. It has donated more than 2000 SRI Sataris i.e Lotus feet of Lord
Vishnu to various Vaishnav Shrines including most of the 108 Divya Desams. LIFCO
takes pride to have offered them throu Eminent Scholars, Veda Pada Shalas,
& many Renowned Saints. In one of
the functions, the Managing trustee said - We have donated more than 2700 “Sri
Sataris” (Divine Lotus Feet) commencing from 1931 to various Vaishnav Temples
including the 106 Divya kShetrams.
Our Emperumanar Swami Ramanujar sahasrabdi vaibhavam was celebrated
grandly and Lifco had a commendable role in organizing it – that included Exhibitions, Bharath Darshan – Rath yatra,
free medical camps and Vedic Global Conference at Chennai.
The man with lofty ideals and hefty accomplisnments would not share the limelight but remained
ever humble. Shocked and saddened by the
untimely demise of Sri.TNC Vijayasarathy, Chairman of Lifco Books, recently. He
was just 48. #OmShanti.
Last year in Mar 2020, he obliged for a photograph at
Thirumalai Ananthazhwan nanthavanam.

Sad, Emperuman snatches some good souls young – this month
has been pretty bad for our Sampradhayam as we lost “ Thirukkovalur Jeeyar
Swami”; Swami Mudaliandan too.
