Sri Azhagiya Singar Brahmothsavam –

Day 6 – Churnabishekam purappadu

திருவல்லிக்கேணியில் சிறப்புற நடைபெறும் ப்ரம்மோத்சவத்தில் இன்று ஆறாம் நாள் ~ சூர்ணாபிஷேகம்  உத்சவம் . இன்று [22^nd June 2013]  காலை ஸ்ரீ அழகிய சிங்கர்  அழகு பொலிந்திட  தங்க சப்பரத்தில்  புறப்பாடு கண்டு  அருளினார்.    புறப்பாட்டின் போது எடுக்கப்பட்ட சிலபடங்கள் இங்கே :

சூர்ணாபிஷேகம் சிறப்பு.  சூர்ணம் என்றால் பொடி. கஸ்தூரி மஞ்சள் மற்றும் வாசனை திரவியங்களால் ஆன சூர்ணம் பெருமாளுக்கு சமர்பிக்கப்படுகிறது. இது நறுமணத்திற்கு ஆகவும் பெரிய வாகனங்களில் எழுந்து  அருளிய களைப்பு தீரவும் ஏற்பாடு பண்ணப்பட்டதாக இருக்கலாம்.  திருகோவிலில் பெருமாள் முன்பு உரலில் இந்த சூர்ணம் உலக்கையால் புதிதாக இடிக்கப்பட்டு, பெருமாள் திருமேனியில் சாற்றப்படுகிறது. இந்த சூர்ணம், அனைத்து பக்தர்களுக்கும் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. திருவீதிப்  புறப்பாட்டில் திருமழிசை ஆழ்வார் அருளிய "கருச்சந்தும் காரகிலும் கமழ்கோங்கும் மணநாறும் திருச்சந்த விருத்தம்" அனுசந்திக்கப்படுகிறது. விருத்தப்பா எனும் பாடல் வகையைச் சார்ந்த 120 பாசுரங்களால் ஆன பிரபந்தம் இது.  இதோ இங்கே திருமழிசைப் பிரானின் ஒரு பாடல் : 

அச்சம்நோயொடல்லல் பல்பிறப்பு அவாய மூப்பிவை

வைத்தசிந்தை வைத்தவாக்கை மாற்றிவானிலேற்றுவான்

அச்சுதன் அநந்தகீர்த்தி ஆதியந்த மில்லவன்

நச்சு நாகணைக்கிடந்த நாதன் வேதகீதனே.

பயம், வியாதிகள், பல்வேறு அல்லல்களோடு கூடிய பல பிறப்புகள்  ஆகிய இவற்றையும்; இவற்றை அனுபவிப்பதற்காகக் கண்ட நெஞ்சையும், அல்லல் படும் சரீரத்தையும் போக்கடித்து ~ நம்மைப் ஸ்ரீபரமபதத்திலே கொண்டு சேர்க்க வல்லவன் - அடியாரை ஒருநாளும் கைவிடாதவனும், எல்லையில்லா கீர்த்திகளையுடையவனும், முதலும் முடிவும் இல்லாதவனும், விரோதிகளை அழிக்க வல்ல ஆதிசேஷன்  மீது சயனித்திருக்கும், வேதங்களினால் பிரதிபாதிக்கப்பட்டவனான ஸ்ரீமன் நாராயணன் ஒருவனே !

This morning after ‘Choornabishekam’, Sri Thelliya Singar  had purappadu in ‘Golden Chapparam’.  In the purappadu,  ‘Thiruchanda Virutham’ composed by Sri Thirumazhisai Azhwaar was rendered.   These 120 songs fall under the type ‘virutha paa’ – they are replete with numbers and fall under a specialized category of tamil grammar called ‘enn adukki cheyyul’.

Sri Azhagiya Singar - Hanumantha Vahanam at Thiruvallikkeni

Sri Azhagiya Singar Brahmothsavam – Hanumantha Vahanam.

Today 22^nd June 2013 is the 5^th day of Aani Brahmothsavam at Thiruvallikkeni for Azhagiya Singar.  In the morning it was ‘Nachiyar Thirukolam’ and in the evening it was ‘Siriya Thiruvadi – Hanumantha vahanam’….. remember Lord Rama fought the battle sitting astride Hanumar.

The son of Vayu – Hanumar is the epitome of great virtues. He had physical power, vast knowledge, strong will power, concentration, commitment, and vast capability of deliverance.   The very thought of Sri Hanuman brings to mind ~ his unparalleled devotion for Lord Ram and unrivalled physical strength. Perhaps this is one reason why Hanuman is quite often associated with celibates, wrestlers and bodybuilders.  

When Sukriva offered to help Lord Rama in search of Sita devi, there were thousands of Vanarars in his Sena ~ there were old, wise, powerful, youthful, and all others – yet it was Hanuman who was preferred to go to Lanka; the wise Zambavan praised his qualities and encouraged him to jump across the Ocean ~ He accomplished the task manfully and tested the strength of the forces of Lanka too… such was his wisdom and power of accomplishment.  Even Sitadevi nursed a doubt when she stated that only three had the power of crossing the mighty Ocean ~ the son of Vainetheyan [Periya Thiruvadi Garudar known for his power of flying]; Lord Vayu and the most wise Hanuman – she wondered how the vast multitude in the Sena of Sukriva could cross the Ocean ?

Aanjaneyar with all his might  still always exhibited the rare qualities of kindness, humility, and deep attachment to Lord Rama.  The selfless spirit  of Hanuman  was rewarded by Lord Ram by stating that ‘whenever I am remembered, people will remember you too.’

Sri Thelliya Singar in His resplendent splendour enraptured His devotees with darshan on  ‘HanumanthaVahanam’  which was a great sight to behold…….. and it rained during the purappadu…

Allikkeni Azhagiya Singar Yoga Narasimhar Thirukolam 2013

Sri Azhagiya Singar – Yoga Narasimhar Thirukolam – Day 5

During Brahmothsavam, before evening purappadu there will be ‘Pathi Ulathal’ whence Perumal beautifully decorated in various postures would be taken around the path leading to the Vahana Mantap.  On 5^th day, it is the very special – Yoga Narasimhar Thirukolam – Uthsavar Sri Azhagiya Singar resembling the Moolavar as ‘Yoga Narasimhar’.

ஸ்ரீ வைஷ்ணவ திருத்தலங்களில் பத்தி உலாவுதல் மிகவும் விசேஷம்.  பிரம்மோத்சவ புறப்பாட்டின் முன்பு பெருமாளை வாகன மண்டபத்துக்கு ஸ்ரீ பாதம் தாங்கிகள் மிக அழகாக ஏளப்பண்ணுவர் .  பெருமாள் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் ஒவ்வொரு சாற்றுப்படியில் அற்ப்புதமாக சேவை சாதிப்பார்.

ஐந்தாம் நாள் ஆன இன்று மிகவும் விசேஷம் ~ இன்று தெள்ளிய சிங்கருக்கு  'யோகா நரசிம்ஹர்"  சாற்றுப்படி

திருவல்லிக்கேணி திவ்யதேசத்தில் நரசிம்ஹர் மேற்கு நோக்கி யோகாசனத்தில் பிணி தீர்க்கும் பெருமாளாக சேவை சாதிக்கிறார்.  இப்பெருமாளுக்கு தனி த்வஜஸ்தம்பம்  ~ பிரம்மோத்சவம்  உண்டு.  இன்று அழகிய சிங்கர் உத்சவர் மூலவரைப் போன்று 'சங்கு சக்கரங்களுடன் யோக நரசிம்ஹர் சாற்றுப்படியில்  சேவை  சாதித்தார்.

Azhagiya Singar Nachiyar Thirukolam - Thiruvallikkeni Day 5 - 2013

Today, 22^nd June 2013, is the 5^th day of Sri Azhagiya Singar Brahmothsavam at Thiruvallikkeni divyadesam.  Perumal already has the Thirunamam ‘Azhagiya Singar’ ~ this morning, the most beautiful Perumal enraptured us  in “Nachiyar Thirukkoalam” – dressed as Ezhilmigu Thayar having  purappadu in palanquin.

Srimannarayana- the ever merciful Lord is always our esteemed protector. That is He is our Rakshaka. He is glorified in the Vedas as the Supreme entity. He is "Veda Mudalvan". The sublime beauty and oozing benevolence could be observed  exceptionally visible in the Thirumugam [face] of Perumal – Nachiyar.

திருவல்லிக்கேணி நரசிம்ஹர் உத்சவர் கம்பீரம் மிக்கவர். அவரது அழகு சௌந்தர்யம் வார்த்தைகளால் விவரிக்கமுடியாதது. அவரது சௌசீல்யத்துக்கு ஏற்ப அழகிய சிங்கர் என்றும் தெள்ளிய சிங்கர் எனவும் திருநாமம் பெற்றவர் ~  கருத்துக்கு மிக எளியனான அப் பெருமாளின் கருணை மிகுந்த திருக்கோலத்தை காண பக்தர்களுக்கு ஆசை வருவது இயல்பு.  பெருமாள் தனது வாத்சல்யம், சௌலப்யம் போன்ற கல்யாண குணங்களை எல்லாம் நமக்கு அருளி, மிக அழகாக குத்துக்காலிட்டு அமர்ந்து அபய ஹஸ்தத்துடன் காட்சி தரும் எழில் மிகு திருக்கோலமே  நாச்சியார் திருக்கோலம் **

திருவல்லிக்கேணியில் எல்லா பெரிய உத்சவங்களிலும் ஐந்தாம் நாள்,  ஸ்வாமி நம்மாழ்வார் அருளிச்செய்த 'திருவிருத்தம்' சேவிக்கப்பெறுகிறது. ருக்வேதசாரமான திருவிருத்தம்  100 பாடல்கள் கொண்ட  அந்தாதி; கட்டளைக்கலித்துறைப் பாடல்களால் ஆனது. நம்மாழ்வார் 'பராங்குச நாயகியாய்' தம்மை பாவித்து பாடிய பாடல்கள் இதில் உள்ளன.  

"கண்ணன் திருமால் திருமுகந் தன்னொடும் காதல்செய்தேற்கெண்ணம் புகுந்து  அடியேனொடிக் காலமிருக்கின்றவே" என ஆழ்வார் மங்களாசாசனம் செய்தது போலே  ~ கிருஷ்ணாவதாரஞ் செய்தவனும் திருமகள் கேள்வனும்  ஆகிய பெருமானின் திருமுக மண்டலத்தை கண்ட பக்தர்களின் எண்ணம் அவனை விட்டு அகலாது அத்தகைய அழகிய திருமுகத்தை மனதினிலே நீங்காமல் இனிதாக உள்ளது. ஐந்தாம் நாள் காலை பக்தர்களுக்கு அருள் பாலித்த நாச்சியார் திருக்கோலம் இங்கே:
