Sree Ramar Pattabisheka thirukolam 2022 - ஸர்வே தர்மபராயணா: । .. .. ராமோ ராஜ்யமகாரயத் ॥

நமக்கு பெருமையும் சிறப்பும் நம் இதிஹாச புராணங்களாலே ! ~ இராமாயணம் க்ஷத்ரிய வீர இராமனின் அருமைகளை இயம்பும் காதை. தந்தை சொல் கேட்டு சிறப்பான நகரத்தை துறந்து வனம் ஏகிய நம் அண்ணல் இராமபிரான்.

The Pattabishekam of Sri Rama Piran is the most complete, exhilarating sight that one can behold – it is one pervading happiness, providing warmth, satisfaction and goodness to one and all.

Pleasant things give happiness to everyone and there cannot be more pleasant sight than that of Sri Rama Pattabishekam ~ the eternal state of bliss- the most complete picture of happiness to everyone in the Kingdom. Kavichakravarthi Kambar describes the mega event saying it justified the name of earth. Earth in Tamil is ‘Puvi’ [Bhoomi : பூமி] ~ which characteristically is the one with flowers [பூ]. The sages and angels were outpouring choicest flowers from all directions, it was raining fragrant flowers ~ earth appeared as if totally covered by those flowers offered celebrating the Coronation celebrations of Sri Rama.

Today, the Lord treated his devotees – a fascinating depiction of Sitadevi seated along Lord Sri Rama with the valiant Lakshmana holding the umbrella and Sri Hanuman doing service at the lotus feet of the Lord. Today, 7^th Mar 2022 was Theppothsavam of Lord Rama – and it was the most beautiful sarrupadi [alankaram] as ‘Pattabisheka Ramar’. Here are some photos of the grand celebrations at Thiruvallikkeni.

இராமனுக்குப் பட்டாபிஷேகம் என்ற செய்தி கேட்டவுடன், அயோத்தி நகரத்து மாந்தர் அனைவரும் கிடைத்தற்கரிய தேவாமிர்தம் பெற்று உண்டவர்கள்போல் பெருமகிழ்ச்சி கொண்டனர். எம்பெருமான் ஸ்ரீராமச்சந்திர மூர்த்தி அமர்ந்திருந்த அழகை கம்பநாட்டாழ்வார் இவ்வாறு விவரிக்கின்றார் :

மாணிக்கப் பலகை தைத்து, வயிரத்தின் கால்கள் சேர்த்தி,

ஆணிப்பொன் சுற்றி முற்றி, அழகுறச் சமைத்த பீடம்,

ஏண் உற்ற பளிக்கு மாடத்து இட்டனர்; அதனின்மீது

பூண் உற்ற திரள் தோள் வீரன் திருவொடும் பொலிந்தான் மன்னோ.

அரசர்களுக்கெல்லாம் சக்ரவர்த்தியான ஸ்ரீராமபிரானுக்கு : - மாணிக்கத்தால் செய்த பலகை பொருத்தப் பெற்று அதிலே வைரத்தால் வலிய கால்கள் செய்தமைத்து; உயர்ந்த பொன்னால் சுற்றும் பூர்த்தி செய்யப் பட்டு எழிலாக உருவாக்கிய பீடத்தை பெருமை சான்ற பளிங்கு மாடத்தில் அமைத்தனர்; மிக அழகாக அமைந்த அப்பீடத்தின் மேல் அற்புதமான அணிகலன்கள் அணிந்த திரண்ட தோள்களை உடைய வீரனாகிய இராமபிரான் சீதாப்பிராட்டியோடும் அழகுற வீற்றிருந்தான்.

In the Rama Rajya - people lived happily, with all prosperity. Everyone adhered to Dharma, without harrying each other. The subjects of Ayodhya lived free from the fear of wild animals, disease and thieves, during the reign of Rāma. People of all the four Varṇas lead happy and contented lives, engaged in their respective activities.

आसन् प्रजा धर्मपरा* रामे शासति नानृताः ।

सर्वे लक्षणसम्पन्नाः सर्वे धर्मपरायणाः ।

दशवर्षसहस्राणि * रामो राज्यमकारयत् ॥

ஆஸந் ப்ரஜா தர்மபரா* ராமே ஸாஸதி நாந்ருதா: ।

ஸர்வே லக்ஷணஸம்பந்நா:* ஸர்வே தர்மபராயணா: ।

தஸவர்ஷஸஹஸ்ராணி* ராமோ ராஜ்யமகாரயத் ॥

Sage Valmiki refers to the great blissful State where people followed Dharma, never resorted to untruth, all endowed with good virtues, believing and practicing Dharma as ultimate – Sree Rama Chandra Murthi thus ruled the kingdom for ten thousand years. .. .. .. the coronation of Sree Ramapiran is the most complete picture of happiness pervading all around (https://www.readramayana.org/)

Today 5^th Apr 2022 was Thavanothsavam for Sree Ramar at Thiruvallikkeni and it was such a bliss to have His darshan in Pattabisheka thirukolam. Here are some photos of the purappadu in the evening inside Thavana uthsava bungalow.
