Swami Manavala Mamunigal day 3 ~ Sri Parthasarathi Pandiyan kondai : 2018

We stand rejuvenated and feeling extremely happy with the celebrations of our Acaryar  –Swami Manavala Mamunigal Thiruvavathara Uthasavam.  Today, 4^th Nov 2018 is day 3 of the Uthsavam.   Our Acharyar is hailed as ‘Periya Jeeyar’ and our Swami Manavala Mamunigal spent a major portion of his life at Thiruvarangam serving the Lord.

Sri Kulasekara Azhwar was so devoted to Sri Rama and the devotees of  Sriman Narayana.  In his Perumal Thirumozhi, he says  ‘the Lord weaned me away from mixing with  ordinary mortals for everything – with His guidance, I call, ‘Oh My Aranga’ -  mad for the love of my own sweet Lord.

எத்திறத்திலும் யாரொடும் கூடும் * அச்

சித்தந் தன்னைத் தவிர்த்தனன் செங்கண்மால்*

அத்தனே அரங்கா என்றழைக்கின்றேன்*

பித்தனாயொழிந்தேன்;  எம்பிரானுக்கே **

புண்டரீகாக்ஷனான எம்பெருமான்  எந்த விஷயத்திலும், கண்ட பேர்களோடே, சேர்ந்து கெட்டுப்போவதற்கு நெஞ்சை நீக்கியருளினான்; (ஆதலால்);  அந்த ஸ்ரீரங்கநாதனே!  என்று அழைக்கின்றேன் ;எம்பிரானுக்கே பித்தனாய் ஒழிந்தேன். [credit ~ Dravidaveda.org]

On day 3 of Mamunigal Uthsavam, being Ekadasi, Swami Manavavala Mamunigal had grand purappadu with Sri Parthasarathi – and in case you are wondering the relevance of Perumal thirumozhi pasuram on Namperumal – there certainly is reason.   Today at Thiruvallikkeni  Sri Parthasarathi Perumal adorned ‘Pandian Kondai’ and grand vruchi garland  ~ and what a darshan it was.   The kireedam known as Pandian kondai  replicates the one usually worn by Lord NamPerumal rendered to him by a Pandian King known as Sundara Pandian.  Today it was Andal nachiyar’s Nachiyar thirumozhi inside the temple after thirumanjanam.

நம்பெருமாள் திருவரங்கர் ஒரு மஹா ராஜா ; அரசர்களுக்கு எல்லாம் அரசர்.  அவர் சுந்தரபாண்டியன் என்ற பேரரசன் சமர்ப்பித்த அழகான ‘பாண்டியன் கொண்டை’ என்ற திவ்ய ஆபரணத்துடன், எழுந்து அருள்வார். அவ்வழகைப் போலவே இன்று ஸ்ரீபார்த்தசாரதி எம்பெருமானும் பாண்டியன் கிரீடம் அணிந்து சேவை சாதித்து அருளினார்  . ஸ்ரீ பார்த்தசாரதி பெருமாளின் வடிவழகு இங்கே :

இப்புவியில் அரங்கேசர்க்கு ஈடு அளித்தான் வாழியே !

எழில் திருவாய்மொழிப்பிள்ளை இணையடியோன் வாழியே !!
