reminiscing Acaryar Manavala Mamunigal Sarrumurai purappadu 2004

In life, best moments are provided by residing at Thiruvallikkeni divyadesam and the habit inculcated in me by my parents and maternal grandfather in learning divyaprabandham under U Ve MA Venkatakrishnan Swami and attending divyaprabandha goshti somewhat regularly.

One of my friends enthused me into entering ‘blogosphere’ in 2009 and in Sept 2009, I made my first blogpost in my religious post ‘samptamilspeak.blogspot.com’ (now – www.tamil.sampspeak.in) – it was on ‘Vijayadasami parvettai purappadu’ at Thiruvallikkeni containing some photos taken in my Minolta  dimage camera – from that date on, much water has flown in Kairavini and I have made hundreds of posts on my blogs. 

I have been posting in detail every year the grand occasion “Aippasi Thirumoolam’  hailing the birth of our Supreme ‘non-pareil’ Acarya Swami Manavala Mamunigal’.  On His Sarrumurai day in the morning Mamunigal has  grand purappadu with Sri Parthasarathi Perumal having  20 kudais.  Mamunigal & Sri Parthasarathi have purappadu, enters Sri Peyalwar sannathi for mandagappadi – and completes periya maada veethi purappadu.

எம்பெருமானைப்பற்றி, நம் ஆச்சார்யர்களைப் பற்றி, நம் ஸம்ப்ரதாயத்தைப் பற்றி எழுதுவது பெரும் பாக்கியம்.  எந்தவித தகுதியும் இல்லாத என்னையும் ஒரு பொருளாக்கி இப்படி எழுதவைப்பவன் நம் எம்பெருமான்; எழுதுவது ஆசார்யன் பேரருளாலே.  சுவாமி நம்மாழ்வார் தமது திருவாய்மொழியிலே சிரீவர மங்கலநகர் பாசுரத்தில் உரைப்பது போலே :

கருளப்  புட்கொடி சக்கரப்படை வான நாட! எங்கார்முகில் வண்ணா*,

பொருளல்லாத என்னைப் பொருளாக்கி அடிமை கொண்டாய்*

தெருள்கொள் நான்மறை வல்லவர் பலர்வாழ் சிரீவர மங்கலநகர்க்கு*

அருள்செய்து   அங்கிருந்தாய்   அறியேனொரு கைம்மாறே.

கருடப்பறவையைக் கொடியாகவுடையனாய்,  திருவாழியை ஆயுதமாகவுடையனாய்,

பரமபதத்தை நாடாகவுடையனான பெருமானே! .. ...  மிகுந்த ஞானத்தையுடையராய்,

நான்கு வேதங்களிலும் உள்ளவர்களான பல ஸ்ரீவைஷ்ணவர்கள் வாழப்பெற்ற வானமாமலை என புகழ்ப்பெற்ற சிரீவரமங்கலம் நகர்க்கு அருள் செய்து, அத்திருப்பதியிலே நித்யவாஸம் செய்யுமவனே! - ஒரு பொருளும்  அல்லாமல் கிடக்கும் என்னை   அடிமை கொண்டு  (திருவாய்மொழியாடுகையாகிற இக்) கைங்கரியத்தை என் பக்கலிலே திருவுள்ளம் பற்றினாய்;  இத்தகைய அளப்பரிய  மஹோபகாரத்திற்கு நான் ஒரு கைம்மாறு அறிகிலேனே என சாதிக்கிறார். 

இதோ இங்கே பல வருடங்கள் முன்னால்  (2004ம் வருஷம்) நம் மாமுனிகள் சாற்றுமுறை அன்று எடுத்த சில படங்கள் இங்கே : திருவாய்மொழிக்கு வ்யாக்யானமான நம்பிள்ளையின் ஈடு வ்யாக்யானத்திலேயே மூழ்கி  எளிய முறையில் ஆழ்வார் திருவாக்குகளைக் கொண்டே மிகச் சுருக்கமாக நூறே பாசுரங்களில் ஆழ்வாரின் திருவாய்மொழி போலே அந்தாதித் தொடையிலேயே 'திருவாய்மொழி நூற்றந்தாதி' எனும் அற்புத பிரபந்தம் நமக்கு அளித்த நம் ஸ்வாமி மணவாள மாமுனிகள் திருவடிகளிலே என்றென்றும் அடிமை செய்து இருப்பேனாக !

It is my fortune that while searching my Computer, was able to locate some photos taken in Sony Cybershot camera on 15.11.2004 on the glorious occasion of Acaryan Swami Manavala Maamunigal sarrumurai purappadu with Sri Parthasarathi perumal.

Here are some photos .. ..  it might provide nostalgic moments to many, especially seeing them so young [16 years ago !]
