Covid 19 or any other fear - just fall at the feet of Thiruvengadamudaiyan .. #JanataCurfew

ஓய்வை விளைவிக்கின்ற கிழத்தனமென்ன, வாழ்க்கையில் கஷ்டங்கள் என்ன ? - மரணம் என்ன ! -  மனித வாழ்க்கையின் அவலங்களை கேள்விப்பட்டு இருக்கிறோம், கண்ணுற்று இருக்கிறோம்.  மனித வாழ்க்கையே நமக்கு இது நேராது என்ற நம்பிக்கையில் காலம் கழிப்பது தானே ! ~ எனினும் 'கரோனா நோய்" போன்ற வியாதிகள் பரவும்போது - மனம் பயந்து என்ன செய்வது என்பது அறியாமல் தளர்வது மனித இயல்பே அல்லவா !

The whole World is under the grip of ‘Corona Virus’ fear.  Addressing the nation, PM Shri Narendra Modiji  made an appeal to people across India. He urged all countrymen to follow ‘Janata Curfew’ on Sunday, 22nd March, from 7 AM to 9 PM.

Today is that all important day – the Nation  observing an unprecedented shutdown - 'Janata curfew', where people have been urged to voluntarily stay indoors to check the spread of coronavirus while public transport will be suspended or curtailed and all markets and shops except those dealing in essential items will be closed on the day.   People have forgotten totally that a month or so ago, the virus that is causing the Covid-19 pandemic around the world was not known, at all, to science, perhaps to humanity.  In the months and weeks since, researchers have been learning as much as they can about this pathogen — and at breakneck speed.  For us there are simpler solutions –  pray to our Emperuman .. ..

எல்லா காலங்களிலும், இது போன்ற சங்கட காலங்களிலும் நாம் செய்ய வேண்டியது என்ன ? - நமக்கு என்ன மனக்கவலை ?? - திருவேங்கடவன் இருக்கும் போது.  திருவேங்கடமுடையானன்றோ ப்ராப்யம், திருமலையே ப்ராப்பயமென்ற  திருமலையொன்றே நம் வினை ஓய்வதற்குப் போதுமென்கிறார், சுவாமி நம்மாழ்வார்.

திருமால் தன் அடியார்களை காப்பதற்கு எழுந்து அருளி இருக்கும் திவ்யதேசங்களில் தலையானது "திருமலை" என போற்றப்படும் "திருவேங்கடம் - திருப்பதி"- குளிரருவி வேங்கடம்; விரிதிரை வேங்கடம் என மிகுந்த அருவிகளை உடையதாக புகழப்படுகிறது. எம்பெருமான் உறையும் இடமான  திருமலைதான் நமக்கும் பரம ப்ராப்யம்; அது நமக்கு எல்லா சிறந்த பலன்களையும் அளிக்க வல்லது.   குளிர்ந்தபெருமழையை தடுத்தவனும் உலகங்களையளந்த பிரபுவுமாகிய எம்பெருமான் ஸ்ரீமன் நாரணன் வந்து சேர்ந்தவிடமான திருமலையொன்றை மாத்திரமே நாம் வணங்கப்பெறில்,  நமது வினைகள் யாவும் பறந்து ஓடி விடும்.

The sacred and most reverred temple of Sri Venkateswara is located on the seventh peak – Venkatachala hill of Tirumala.  The Lord stands tall as bestower of all boons and lakhs of people reach here to have a glimpse – a few seconds darshan of the Lord.  This beautiful temple in its present form owes a lot to the works of the greatest Vaishnava 

ஓயு மூப்புப் பிறப்பு  இறப்புப்பிணி*,

வீயுமாறு  செய்வான்  திருவேங்கடத்து *

ஆயன்,  நாண்மலராம்  அடித் தாமரை*,

வாயுள்ளும்  மனத்துள்ளும்  வைப்பார்  கட்கே.

ஸ்வாமி  நம்மாழ்வார் நமக்கு காட்டும் வழி ஈதே :   திருமலையில் வாழ்கிற திருவேங்கடவனாம் ஸ்ரீநிவாசன்  அப்போதலர்ந்த செந்தாமரைப்பூப்போன்ற திருப்பாதங்களை கொண்டவன்.  அவன் ஒருவன் மட்டுமே -  ஓய்வை விளைவிக்கின்ற கிழத்தனமென்ன;  பிறவியென்ன; மரணமென்ன - எல்லாவற்றிலும் நம்மை காத்தருள்வான்.  அவனது திருவடிகளை,  வாக்கினுள்ளும், மனத்துள்ளும்,  வைத்துக் கொள்பவர்களுக்கு  - பிணி, வியாதியென்ன எவையும் கரைந்து தொலைந்தே போகுமாறு  செய்தருள்வன், நம் எம்பெருமான்..

In life there are always challenges – there have been endemics, droughts, wars, diseases and more – for those of us aligned to the lotus feet of Sriman Narayan, the one standing at the Holy Thirumala – there can be no worry.  Thiruvengadavan will take care of us and ensure  that we are rid of all sorrows and difficulties.  Just remain at home and chant His pasurams, think of Him, pray Him.
