ஆசையில் சண்டையிட்டு மாண்டன. அரசர்கள் படையெடுத்து

இந்திய கண்டம் வரை வெற்றி கண்டவர் ஆனால் தனது ஊருக்கு திரும்பாமலே மறைந்தார். இந்தியாவை மௌரியர்கள், குப்தர்கள் என பலர் ஆண்டனர். தென்னகத்தில் சேர, சோழ, பாண்டிய, பல்லவ, புலிகேசி,

- பலரது சுவடே இல்லை. இன்றைய சூழ்நிலையில், உலக நாடுகளில் வியத்தகு முன்னேற்றமடைந்துள்ள சில
நாடுகள் முன்னேற்றப் பாதையில் மேலும் விரைந்து செல்கின்றன. இன்னும் சில நாடுகள் முன்னேற்றத்துக்கு
வழிதெரியாமலும், வழிகாட்டுதலும் இல்லாமல், பசியால், பட்டினியால் தத்தளித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன.
இது உலக இயல்பு .. இன்னமும் கொஞ்சம் காணலாம், பிரபஞ்சத்தில் வேறு எங்கேனும் உயிர்நிலை உள்ளனவா ? செவ்வாய் கிரகத்தில் உள்ள கேல் பள்ளத்தாக்கு வழியாக 400 கோடி ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் வெள்ளம் வழிந்தோடியதாக ஓர் ஆராய்ச்சியின் மூலம் தெரியவந்துள்ளது. தண்ணீர் இருந்ததன் அடிப்படையில் அக்கிரகத்தில் உயிர்கள் இருந்திருக்கலாம் எனவும் தெரியவருகிறது. அமெரிக்க விண்வெளி ஆய்வு நிறுவனமான நாசா செவ்வாய் கிரகத்துக்கு கியூரியாசிட்டி என்ற விண்கலத்தை அனுப்பியது. அந்த விண்கலத்தின் ரோவர் (சுற்று வாகனம்) சேகரித்த தரவுகளை அமெரிக்காவில் உள்ள கார்னெல் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த விஞ்ஞானிகள் ஆய்வு செய்தனர். இந்த ஆய்வின் அடிப்படையில், ஒரு விண்கல்லின் தாக்கத்தால் ஏற்பட்ட வெப்பம் காரணமாக, செவ்வாயின் தரைப்பரப்பில் இருந்த உறைந்த பனி உருகி, அங்குள்ள "கேல்' என்ற பள்ளத்தாக்கு வழியாக பிரம்மாண்டமான வெள்ளம் வழிந்தோடியிருக்கலாம் எனவும், 400 கோடி ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னதாக இந்நிகழ்வு ஏற்பட்டிருக்கலாம் எனவும் தெரியவந்துள்ளது. இவ்வெள்ளம் அங்கே பேரழிவை ஏற்படுத்தி இருக்கலாம் !!
For a Srivaishnavaite, the requirements are simple but specific. One need not be materialistically rich, one need not possess properties in abundance but should reside in a divyadesam like Thirumala, Thiruvarangam, Thirukachi, Thiruvananthapuram, Thirukurungudi, Thiruvallikkeni or a place associated with our Acaryas like Thirunarayanapuram. When one owns a measurable piece of land in a place associated with Emperuman, at least for some other purpose, one would be forced to visit the place quite often and have darshan of Emperuman under that pretext. If one is associated with those doing kainkaryam at various divyadesams, the possibilities of darshan of Emperuman increases manifold.
Today 26.11.2020 is Revathi in the month of Karthigai – in normal days, there would have been chinna mada veethi purappadu of Sri Ranganathar for every Revathi nakshathiram. At Thiruvallikkeni, there is separate sannathi of Sri Vedavalli thayar and Srimannadhar (Sri Ranganathar). Vedavalli grew up in the ashram of Bhrigu maharishi at Brindharanyam and was married to Sri Ranganathar on Suddha makha dwadasi (Feb – Mar). Other than monthly purappadu on REvathi nakshathiram, there occurs 5 day Pallava uthsavam that culminates on Punguni uthiram day. Today is ‘Kaisika Ekadasi’ too – there would be grand purappadu of Sri Parthasarathi perumal on this day. Sadly, the ways of the changing World has made it that there is no purappadu.

Oh Lord of dark radiance, I have not even secured your feet – I scream and call your names and there can be none other that the Great Lord of Thiruvarangam ~ Lord Ranganatha who owns the Universe and resides at Srirangam (described as ‘Arangamaanagar’) who can protect me…
