திருவல்லிக்கேணி ஏகாதசி : சிற்றவை பணியால் முடி துறந்தவன் - இன்று கருங்கண் தோகை மயில் பீலி.

There is never a dull moment at Thiruvallikkeni divaydesam .. On 21^st April is Angurarpanam and from 22^nd begins Chithirai Brahmothsvam of Sri Parthasarathi Perumal.  After Thai brahmothsavam,  Theppothsavam, Thavana Uthsavam, Pallava Uthsavam, Sri Ramanavami uthsavam comes another 10 day celebrations – in between there have been many purappadus – today [17^th Apr 2016]  is Ekadasi – and what a great day it turned out to be – with the darshan of Kadalvannan -

என்னே ஒரு திவ்யமான ஏகாதசி ! : திருவல்லிக்கேணி ஸ்ரீ பார்த்தசாரதி இராமாவதாரத்தில் 'சிற்றவை பணியால் முடி துறந்தவன் அன்றோ !' - இன்று கருங்கண்  தோகை மயில் பீலி, அழகான தண்டை, துரா  பதக்கங்கள்,  ஜாஜ்வல்யமான திருவாபரணங்கள்,  விருச்சி, மணம்கமழும் மல்லிகை, மதுரமான மகிஷம்பூ என மாலைகள் - என அற்புதமான சாற்றுப்படியுடன்  சேவை சாதித்தார்.  பக்தர்கள்  உஜ்வலமான நிறமும், சூரியன் போன்ற ப்ரகாசத்தையும் கொண்ட ‘கடல் வண்ணன்‘  சிறப்பை காணும் பேறு பெற்றனர்.

அழகன்றே யாழியாற்கு ஆழிநீர் வண்ணம்,

அழகன்றே  அண்டம் கடத்தல், - அழகன்றே

அங்கை நீரேற்றாற்கு அலர்மேலோன் கால்கழுவ,

கங்கைநீர் கான்ற கழல்.

Sri Peyalwar who could have darshan with the lights lit by Poigai and Boothathalwar –  asks : is it the deep-Ocean hue of the Lord that is beautiful; was the  water [that eventually became sacred Ganges] poured on the lotus feet of the Lord by Brahma  - when Sriman Narayana accepted the gift of land,  and in accepting stretched His foot into space – beautiful ….

~  to us it only Sri Parthasarathi’s divya thirukolam on Ekadasi day that was most beautiful.  All of us can enjoy that beauty through some photos taken during the veethi purappadu.
