Sri Peyazhwar's words offer clear and profound advice to the
heart:
“O heart! Worship always
and follow the divine feet of the One who wields the radiant discus, the Lord
who pervades the vast earth, the expansive sky, the air, the blazing fire and
the waters.”
The pasuram reminds us that Sriman Narayana is the
indwelling presence of the entire universe—the earth, the vast heavens, the
air, fire and water. He is the Supreme Lord who sustains and protects all
creation, bearing the radiant Sudarshana Chakra.
Peyazhwar's message to the heart is simple yet profound: let
us always seek the divine feet of Sriman Narayana, surrender to Him, and remain
devoted to Him.
At Thiruvallikkeni, the Chinna Mada Veethi Purappadu
takes place every month on Rohini nakshathiram. Today, 1 October, Rohini falling
in the Tamil month of Purattasi, providing yet another occasion for devotees to
have darshan of Sri Parthasarathi Swami. Here are some photographs taken this
evening during the purappadu.

In a conscious mind, what
one should think ! - when you are alone, when you want to
concentrate, when you want to think of one particular issue, many of us feel
that mind wavers and unwanted, depressing thoughts run in te
mind. Some unwanted thought or image gets stuck in your
head! We tend to ignore and move on, yet those thoughts
keep Usually popping right back up.
You don’t want to have
these sticky, uncomfortable thoughts. So why do they happen to you? They're
called “intrusive thoughts,” and nearly everyone has them from time to time.
They can range from random images to disturbing and violent ideas and when one
gets obsessed about them, they can
interrupt day-to-day life, becoming a sign of an
underlying mental health problem. Worrisome,
threatening !! find solace in Sriman Narayana !!
The ones described as
unwanted thoughts above – ‘intrusive thoughts!’. According to one global survey, 93% of participants reported
having at least one intrusive thought over 3 months. This holds true for folks
with or without a diagnosed mental health condition. They only become a problem
when they interrupt your daily life or cause a lot of anxiety.
An intrusive thought is
an unwelcome, involuntary thought, image, or unpleasant idea that may become an
obsession, is upsetting or distressing, and can feel difficult to manage or
eliminate. Intrusive thoughts, urges, and images are of
inappropriate things at inappropriate times, and generally have aggressive,
sexual, or blasphemous themes. Intrusive thoughts are often
triggered by stress or anxiety. They may also be a short-term problem brought
on by biological factors, such as hormonal imbalances.
Any life stressor, if big
enough, can increase your risk of having intrusive thoughts. Cognitive
behavioral therapy is one strategy that is often successful in helping people
manage intrusive thoughts. The process may help you to shift some of your
general thought patterns, which can enable you to better manage these thoughts
when they do occur and might lessen their frequency. Intrusive thoughts can
also be managed by addressing the underlying problem, such as anxiety, stress,
or a personal history of trauma.
While one may be disturbed
by intrusive thoughts, it is in their own mind to deal with it
easily. Move away from mundane and fretful
thinking. Think of the most benevolent Sriman
Narayana. Keep oneself engaged in kainkaryam in Temple and to
bagavathas. Understand that most intrusive thoughts are mere
thoughts. They are not red flagged anger that disturbs, bothers,
when you move away – chant Hari namam – chant names of Thirupathi Balaji –
Govindha, Hari Govindha, Gokula Nandana Govindha !!!

Today Sri
Thelliya Singar came out His gopura vasal around 0445 pm .. here are some photos of
the purappadu.

The magnificent
composition depicting Sriman Narayana seated upon Garuda, surrounded by ornate
golden arches, richly decorated pillars, celestial attendants and traditional
temple motifs. The intricate goldwork, colourful embellishments and symmetrical
arrangement evoke the grandeur of South Indian temple sculpture and traditional
iconography.
The striking turquoise
background provides a beautiful contrast to the gold ornaments, while the red,
white and green detailing adds colour and depth to the composition. The entire
panel has the appearance of an elaborate temple tableau, bringing together
devotion, craftsmanship and artistic imagination.
There is something
delightful about encountering such a work found in an airport corridor.
Airports are generally associated with hurried journeys, flight announcements
and the movement of people. Yet, here, a moment of stillness and traditional
Indian art offers a different experience to the traveller.
A piece of India's
artistic and spiritual heritage, displayed not within the sanctum of a temple,
but along the passage of a modern airport – Mumbai Terminal 1 — a reminder that our cultural traditions find a place in the most contemporary public spaces.

Even in modern
days, a trip to Badrinath dham is arduous.Sri Badrinath Dham —
Badari Vishal— is among the most reverred Vaishnava
kshetras, set high in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand at about 3,133 metres, on the bank of
the sacred Alaknanda.Beyond Badrinath, is the
Mana village, touted as India’s first village, customary for people to go,
drink chai, and post on social media.
A few kilometers up - begins
the sacred trail traditionally associated with the Pandavas’ Mahaprasthan —
their final journey towards Swarga. The route past Bhim Pul and Vasudhara,
towards the high Himalayan region of Satopanth and the Swargarohini glacier,
evokes the timeless story of Yudhishthira’s ascent to heaven.”
Nestled in the Garhwal
Himalayas of Uttarakhand, Mana is a picturesque mountain village situated about
3–4 km from Sri Badrinath Temple, at an altitude of approximately 3,200 metres.
Located near the India–Tibet frontier, it has long been celebrated for its
extraordinary natural beauty, ancient traditions and deep connections with
Hindu mythology. The Uttarakhand government has designated it a Tourism
Village.Beyond the village, the trail
winds through the magnificent Himalayan landscape towards Vasudhara Falls and
the remote Satopanth region, forever associated in popular tradition with the
Pandavas' ascent to Swarga.Mana is thus
much more than a scenic mountain hamlet. It is a place where the grandeur of
the Himalayas, the sanctity of Badrinath and the timeless narratives of the
Mahabharata converge — leaving the pilgrim with a profound sense of wonder and
reverence.
Bhim Pul, a natural rock bridge over the
Saraswati River - . Bhima placed this
enormous rock across the river to enable Draupadi to cross.Beyond Mana, the trail leads towards
Vasudhara Falls and the remote Satopanth region, which is traditionally
associated with the Pandavas' ascent to heaven.
Swargarohana Parva notes that after entering heaven, Yudhishthira
is frustrated to find people in heaven who had sinned on earth. He then asks
for a visit to hell and there he finds people who he thought were good and
virtuous on earth. He questions whether Gods were fair at all, whether virtue
during earthly life means anything ever and then in anger demands that he be
sent to hell so he can be with those people who were good, just, virtuous, who
he loved and who loved him. The Gods then remove the fake hell they had created
for show. Lord Dharma appears and says that this has been a third test of
Yudhishthira, and congratulates him for always standing up for justice, truth,
virtue and other aspects of Dharma.

Sri Peyalwar in his
Moonram Thiruvanthathi – gives this wonderful piece of advice. One who
has dedicated self to the lotus feet of Sriman Narayana need not fear anything,
especially that of his foes.
