மனத்திலோர் தூய்மை இல்லை வாயில் ஓர் இன் சொல் இல்லை ! 

இப்பூவுலகிலே நம் போன்றோர் எவ்வித  நற்குணங்களும் இன்றி உழல்கிறோம்.  திவ்யதேசங்களுக்கு சென்று ஸ்ரீமன் நாராயணனின் திவ்ய ஸ்வரூபங்களை சேவித்து, அவருக்கும், அவரது அடியார்களுக்கும் எந்த வகையிலாவது கைங்கர்யம் செய்வோமேயானால் - அது நமக்கும் நம்மை சார்ந்தவர்களுக்கும் நன்மை பயக்கும்.   

விஸ்வாமித்ர முனிவருடன் மிதிலை சென்ற ஸ்ரீராமபிரான், சீதையை காண்கிறார்.  சீதையின் உருவெளிப்பாடு கண்ட இராமனின் நிலையை கம்ப நாட்டாழ்வான் இவ்வாறு விவரிக்கின்றான்.   

‘விண்ணின் நீங்கிய மின் உரு - இம் முறை

பெண்ணின் நல் நலம் பெற்றது உண்டேகொலோ?

எண்ணின். ஈது அலது என்று அறியேன்; இரு

கண்ணினுள்ளும் கருத்துளும் காண்பெனால்.  

விண்ணின்    நீங்கிய,  -  மேகத்திலிருந்து இறங்கி வரும் மின்னல் இவ்வாறு பெண்ணின் பேரழகைபெற்றதோ !  ஆராய்ந்து பார்த்தால், என் கண்ணிற்குப்  புலப்படுகின்ற  இந்தப் பெண்  வடிவம்  கொண்டு வந்தது வேறு அன்று !!  கண்ணினுள்ளும், மனத்துள்ளும் இந்த அழகு உருவத்தையே  ராமபிரான் கண்டதாக கம்பர் உரைக்கிறார்.   

இன்று திருவல்லிக்கேணியில் ஸ்ரீ ராமநவமி உத்சவத்தின் ஐந்தாவது நாள்.  பல்லக்கில் மிக அழகான தாயார் !  அதி அற்புத சௌந்தர்ய லாவண்யமய கருணை மென்மையாய் வெளிப்படும் தாயார் - இது சீதாபிராட்டி தானே என்று கேட்கவல்ல திருக்கோலம். இன்று சக்கரவர்த்தி திருமகனாம் ஸ்ரீ ராமபிரானுக்கு நாச்சியார் திருக்கோலம்.

வா(தா)த்மஜ ஸௌமித்ரி வைனதேய ரிபு மர்த3ன

                  Thiagayya directs his mind – O mind, Seetha devi is my mother, Sree Rama is my father; Hanumanthudu, Lakshmana, Vainateya, Satrugna, Jambavan, Baratha and all others who serve the Master are my brothers, Vasishta, Parasara, Saunaka, Sukha, and true bagavathas on earth are all intimate relatives (bandhavalu)

In this earthly World, blessed are those who live in Divyadesam – for all of us, it is the purpose of life to visit Divyadesangal, have darshan of Sriman Narayana in various forms in these temples, do some service to the Lord or those parama bagavathas who serve the Lord – and what best can there be, when you are fortunate to worship and pay obeisance to the supreme Maryadha purush Lord Sri Rama.   

In those blessed days of the civilisation, to the north of Ganga was the great kingdom of Kosala made fertile by river Sarayu.  Ayodhya was its capital, built by Manu, the famous ruler of Solar dynasty.  In that fertile city, farmers reaped rich harvests; their cattle and subjects were most healthy and honest. All roads led to Ayodhya which had a steady influx of pilgrims and knowledge seekers. The city had walls, cool tree-shaded roads, magnicent palaces and peaceful subjects – and there occurred the birth of Lord Sri Rama.  

The birth of Lord Sri Rama is celebrated as Sree Rama Navami ~ and today is 5th day of the grand Uthsavam at many places.  At Thiruvallikkeni, inside the ornate pallakku was the stunningly beautiful woman – it was not Sitadevi, but Sri Ramapiran Himself, in Nachiyar Thirukolam and it was indeed a divine darshan. It was Thiruvirutham in the goshti and here are some photos taken during today’s purappadu.
