Thiruvallikkeni Sri Parthasarathi Brahmothsavam upto Day 3 Morning

The Chithirai Brahmothsavam is happening in a grandiose manner at Thiruvallikkeni.  Thousands throng the streets of Triplicane to have darshan of Lord beautifully decorated in various vahanas.

Thiruvallikkeni Sri Parthar Brahmothsavam 2011

The famous temple of Sri Parthasarathi Swami is resplendent with the festivals and most important of them is the Brahmothsavam which starts on the Chithirai Thirunakshathiram of the month of Chithirai. The Theerthavari festival would take place on the 9^th day on the Thiruvonam thirunakshithiram.

In the divine place of the Lord – Thiruvallikkeni, the Brahmothsavam commenced today [Monday, the 18^th April 2011]. Here are some photos taken during the morning purappadu today.

கர வருஷம்  - புது வருஷ பிறப்பு 

இன்று 14/04/2011  தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு. வசந்த ருதுவில் புத்தாண்டு பிறப்பதாக அதர்வ வேதத்தில்  சொல்லப்பட்டுள்ளதாம்.  காலம் ஐந்து அங்கங்களாக பிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. பஞ்சாங்கம் என்பதே பஞ்ச (ஐந்து) அங்கங்கள் என்பதுவே.  அவை :  திதி, வாரம், நக்ஷத்திரம், யோகம், கரணம்.  க்ருத, த்ரேத, த்வாபர, கலி யுகங்கள் சேர்ந்தது ஒரு மஹா யுகம்.  17  மஹா யுகங்கள் சேர்ந்தது ஒரு கல்பம். நம் சங்கல்பத்தில் சொல்வது போல இப்போது நடப்பது 'ஸ்வேத வராஹ கல்பம்".  தமிழ் வருடங்கள் அறுபது. பிரபவ வருடம் தொடங்கி, விபவ, சுக்கில, பிரமோதூத என இருபத்தி ஐந்தாம்  வருடம் இக் கர வருஷம். இவ் வருடத்தில் நல்ல மழை பெய்து தனம் தான்யம் வருத்தி அடையுமாம்.  

இந்த இனிய நாளில் நாம் அனைவரும் எல்லா வளங்களும் பெற்று சிறப்புற வாழ்வதற்கு நல வாழ்த்துகள்.  " இனிய தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு நல் வாழ்த்துகள் " 

திருவல்லிக்கேணி பிராமணர்கள் நலச்சங்கம் சார்பில் 'கர வருஷ பஞ்சாங்கம்' நேற்று வெளியிடப்பட்டது. இவ்விழாவில் திரு உ.வே ராஜஹம்சம் சுவாமிகள், எஸ் வே சேகர், என் கிருஷ்ணசுவாமி மற்றும் தமிழ்நாடு பிராம்மணர் சங்க நிர்வாகிகள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

Sree Rama Navami 2011 - the birthday of Supreme God RAMA [12/04/2011]

ஸ்ரீ ராம நவமி - 12th April 2011

Today is the holy day of Sree Rama Navami – the day on which Lord Sri Ramachandramurthy, the supreme avatar was born in the blessed land of Ayodhya.  Here are some photos of Lord Sri Rama of Thiruvallikkeni in various vahanams taken during the Uthsavam 2o11.

இன்று மிக சீரிய நன்னாள் - எல்லா உயர்வும் உடைய ஸ்ரீ ராமச்சந்திர மூர்த்தி மன்னுபுகழ்க் கோசலைதன்  மகனாக  அவதரித்த திருநாள் :  ஸ்ரீ ராம நவமி.   

பத்துடை அடியவர்க்கு எளியவனான எம்பெருமானின் எந்த திரு அவதாரத்தை  ரசிப்பது ?                   " கற்பார் ராமபிரானை அல்லால் மற்றும் கற்பரோ"  என  ஸ்ரீ நம்மாழ்வார் திருவாய்மொழியில் அருளிச் செய்துள்ளார்.  இந்த பாசுரத்திலேயே - பெருமாள் புல், எறும்பு முதலிய அற்பமானவைகளுக்கு கூட   உயர்ந்தவற்றை அளிக்கவல்லவர் ஆகவே - அவரையே சரணடைய வேண்டும் என காட்டியுள்ளார். 

வீரத்தொழில் செய்துகொண்டேயிருக்கிற வில்லையுடையவனான இராமபிரானுடைய,  இயற்கையான நற்குணங்களையே  நித்யபோக்யமாக அனுபவிப்பது நமக்கு எல்லா நன்மைகளையும் நிச்சயம் தரும்.  "இராம நாமம்" அனுதினமும் சொல்வோரை,  சிறிய திருவடியாம் அனுமனும் காப்பார். 

திருவல்லிக்கேணி திவ்யதேசத்தில் ஸ்ரீ ராம நவமி உத்சவம் நன்கு நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.  இதோ இங்கே இராமர் வெள்ளி யானை வாகனத்திலும் ஹம்ச வாகனத்திலும் புறப்பாடு கண்டு அருளிய திருக்கோலம்.

Thiruvallikkeni - Sree Rama Navami Garuda Sevai

Lord Rama, the perfect avatar of the Supreme Maha Vishnu is the pure symbol of chivalry and virtue.  He is the embodiment of truth, morality, the ideal son, the ideal husband and the ideal King.

Sree Rama Navami is the birth day of Lord Rama and 9 days festival is organized everywhere celebrating HIS birthday.  In Triplicane – there will be procession (purappadu) in the evening of all the Nine days – except the third day, when Lord Rama will ascend Garuda in the morning.

ஸ்ரீ ராமநவமி திருநாள் - திருவல்லிக்கேணி கருட சேவை.  

மிக உன்னதமான அவதார புருஷர் இராமர்.

ஓர் இல், ஒரு சொல், ஒரு வில் என வாழ்ந்து வழிகாட்டியவர் ஸ்ரீராமர். 'ராமன்' என்றாலே தானும் ஆனந்தமாக இருந்து மற்றவர்களுக்கும் ஆனந்தத்தைத் தருகிறவன் என்று அர்த்தம். எத்தனைவிதமான துக்கங்கள் வந்தபோதிலும் மனத்தைத் தளரவிடாமல், ஆனந்தமாக தர்மத்தையே அனுசரித்துவந்தவர்.

மன்னுபுகழ் கௌசலைதன் மணிவயிறு வாய்த்த இராமச்சந்திர மூர்த்தியின் பேரை சொன்னாலே எல்லா வளமும் பெருகும். இராமர் மனிதனாக வாழ்ந்து காட்டியவர்.

அழகிய இடத்தையுடையதும், உயர்ந்த மதில்களினால் நாற்புறமும் சூழப்பட்டதுமான அயோத்யா எனும் அழகிய நகரத்திலே சூர்ய வம்சத்துக்குசிறப்பு விளங்க அவதரித்தவர். அனைத்து கல்யாண குணங்களும் ஒரு சேரப் பெற்ற இராமபிரான், தசரதரின் மகனாக சித்திரை மாதம் சுக்ல பக்ஷ நவமியில் அவதரித்தார்.

எம்பெருமானுடைய சரிதையை செவியால் கண்ணால், பருகுவது இனிய தேவாம்ருதத்தை உண்பதற்கு சமானம் ஆகும்.   திருவல்லிக்கேணியிலும் மற்றைய திவ்ய தேசங்களிலும் ஸ்ரீ ராமநவமியைமுன்னிட்டு ஒன்பது நாள் உத்சவம் விமர்சையாக நடைபெறும். 06/04/2011 - புதன் கிழமையன்று காலை ஸ்ரீ ராம பிரான் கருட வாஹனத்தில் எழுந்து அருளினார்.
