அன்றிடரடுக்க ஆழியான் ~ ஆனைக்கு அருள் செய்த பெருமான்

ஆனைக்கு  அருள் செய்த பெருமாள் கஜேந்திர வரதன்.  அர்ஜுனனுக்கு அருள் செய்த பெருமாள் நம் பார்த்தசாரதி.  எம்பெருமானின் திருப்பாதங்களில் புகல் அடைவதே நம்மை கொரோனா போன்ற கொடிய நோய்களில் இருந்து காக்கும். 

முன்னொரு காலத்தில்  பக்தனான இந்த்ரத்யும்நனென்னும் அரசன் வழக்கப்படி  பூஜை செய்து கொண்டிருந்தபோது அகஸ்த்ய மஹாமுனிவன் அவனிடம் எழுந்தருள,   அவ்வரசன் தன் கருத்து முழுவதையும் திருமாலைப் பூஜிப்பதில் செலுத்தியிருந்ததனால் அம்முனிவனது வருகையை அறியாதவனாய் அவனுக்கு உபசாரமொன்றுஞ் செய்யாதிருக்க, அம்முனிவன் இப்படி அரசன் நம்மை அலக்ஷியஞ் செய்தானென்று மாறாகக் கருதிக் கோபித்து , ‘யானைபோலச் செறுக்குற்றிருந்ததனால் யானையாகக் கடவை’ என்று சபிக்க, அங்ஙனமே அவன் ஒரு காட்டில் யானையாகத் தோன்றினனாயினும் முன்செய்த விஷ்ணுபக்தியின் மஹிமையினால் அப்பொழுதும் விடாமல் நாள்தோறும் ஆயிரந்தாமரை மலர்களைக் கொண்டு திருமாலை அர்ச்சித்துப் பூஜித்துவருகையில், ஒருநாள் பெரியதொரு தாமரைத் தடாதகத்தில் அர்ச்சனைக்காகப் பூப்பறிப்பதற்குப்போய் இறங்கி முதலை வாயில் அகப்பட்டான்.

சாபமும் சாபவிமோசனமும் புராணங்களில் வரும் நிகழ்வுகள். சாபம் என்பது எப்போதுமே பிரக்ஞையின் மேல்நிலையிலிருந்து கீழ்நிலைக்குத் தள்ளப்படுவது.  எம்பெருமானின் கருணையால்   விமோசனம் பெற்றதும்  மீண்டும் சுயநிலையை அடைவது நடக்கிறது. தேவர்கள் மனிதர்களாகப் பிறவியெடுப்பதும், மனிதர்கள் விலங்குகளாகப் பிறப்பதும் தத்தம் நிலையிலிருந்து அவர்கள் கீழே தள்ளப்படுவதைக் காட்டுகிறது.

The present phase  of lockdown (with few days called as intense)  is totally confusing – more people are on the streets.  Some offices have reopened and many shops are open – people are loitering on the streets even as the no. affected is going up.  From city centeric, it has now spread throughout the State affecting distant districts.  This is scheduled to end on 31 July but lockdown with relaxations, currently in force across Tamil Nadu, is likely to continue until August-end. While further relaxations could be considered, when chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami holds discussions with district collectors on Wednesday, the ban on public transport as well as malls and cinema halls will remain in force, official sources said. “With Covid positive numbers growing in the districts, the lockdown is likely to be continued beyond July 31, when the present lockdown comes to an end. Some more relaxations could be considered, but controls over public places and public transport will remain till at least next month,” said a state government official.

With daily coronavirus cases (49,931) inching close to 50,000, the total number of infections in India crossed the 14-lakh mark on Monday. The toll rose to 32,771 with 708 deaths in the last 24 hours. Of the 14,35,453 cases, India currently has over 4.85 lakh active cases, while 9.17 lakh patients have already recovered.  The World is in search of an antidote.  Urging people not to lower their guard, PM Narendra Modi on Sunday said coronavirus is still as fatal as it was in the beginning when the contagion appeared on the global scene. During his monthly radio address ‘Mann ki Baat’, he urged citizens to take a pledge of freedom from the pandemic on August 15 and also resolve for self-reliant India on the lines of the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ he had announced. His message comes at a time when curbs are easing and it is being felt that the public at large is becoming slack in observing social distancing and use of masks and cases of infection are rising.

A 30-year-old man was on Friday given the first dose of undertrial coronavirus vaccine Covaxin at Delhi's All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). A total of 12 volunteers were called for a number of pre-tests that include blood and nasopharyngeal testing for COVID-19. After results, 10 healthy individuals were selected for the vaccine to be given in phases. After the first dose, a report on their health condition will be submitted to the ethics committee, which will reviewing the entire process. 100 healthy people will be vaccinated at AIIMS during these trial. Covaxin, developed by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the ICMR and the National Institute of Virology (NIV), had recently got the approval for human clinical trials from the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI).

Away in USA, in signing a $2 billion deal to supply their experimental coronavirus vaccine to the U.S., Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE are setting a price ceiling of less than $20 a dose that will impact how much other companies can charge to protect people from Covid-19. Governments worldwide are seeking to blunt a pandemic that’s killed more than 600,000 people, and dozens of companies are wrestling with how to price future vaccines. Rival drugmakers are unlikely to exceed the $20 price tag unless they can deliver a product that’s more effective, has fewer side effects or that doesn’t need as many doses, particularly those developing candidates based on so-called messenger RNA technology, such as Moderna Inc.

Of those who render service to Emperuman Sriman Narayanan – Ananthan, the AdiSesha serves Him in the best possible manner that one could visualize. Ananthazhwaan is ever at the service of the Lord in every possible manner. In our Sampradhayam, Ananthan is reverred.  Sesha is the King of all Nagas who holds an exalted place in puranas.   To praise more of his attributes, Adi Sesha never gets separated from Sriman Narayana. When Maha Vishnu took the exalted avathars, Adisesha too accompanied Him and did continued service.  He never thinks of his own comfort – in the Ramayana, Ilayavar Lakshmana (adi sesha) seldom took rest, did not sleep a wink, stood guard remaining ever vigilant.  In Krishnavathara, Balarama cared more for his brother.  Our Acarya Ramanujar is reincarnation of Sesha and our Acarya Swami Manavala Mamunigal was another reincarnation of Adi sesha and did yeoman service to Emperuman.

திரிகூட மலைக்காடுகளில் வசித்துவந்த யானைக் கூட்டத்தின் தலைவன் கஜேந்திரன் (முந்தைய அரசன்)  தடாகத்தில் இறங்கி மலர் கொய்யும் வேளையில் குளத்தில் இருந்த முதலை ஒன்று, கஜேந்திரனின் காலைக் கவ்விக் கொண்டது. கஜேந்திரன் தன் வலிமையனைத்தையும் திரட்டித் தன்னை விடுவித்துக்கொள்ள முயற்சித்தது. முதலையும் விடவில்லை.   முதலை, யானையரசனைத் தண்ணீருக்குள் இழுக்கத் தொடங்கியது. தன் வலிமையின்மேல் இருந்த நம்பிக்கையை முழுவதுமாக இழந்துவிட்ட நிலையில், அனைத்துக்கும் மூலகர்த்தாவான பரம்பொருளே கதி என்று, ‘ஆதிமூலமே’ எனப் பெருங்குரலெடுத்து கஜேந்திரன் கூப்பிட்டது.  எம்பெருமான் தன பக்தனை காப்பாற்ற கருட வாகனத்தில் பறந்து வந்து, திருவாழியினால் முதலையின் சிரத்தை அறுத்து, கஜேந்திரனை கைப்பற்றினான். 

மஹாபாரதத்தில் இந்த்ரத்யும்னன் கதை உண்டு.   வைசம்பாயனர்  ஜனமேஜயனிடம் -   " பாண்டவர்களும், முனிவர்களும் மார்க்கண்டேயரிடம், "உம்மைவிட நீண்ட வாழ்நாள்   அருளப்பட்டவர்கள் வேறு யாரேனும் உள்ளனரா?" என கேட்க மார்க்கண்டேயர், "சந்தேகமற நிச்சயம் இருக்கிறார்கள். இந்திரத்யும்னன் என்ற பெயர்படைத்த ஒரு அரசமுனி, அறம் குறைந்ததால், "எனது சாதனைகள் அனைத்தும் தொலைந்தன" என்று கதறியவாறு சொர்க்கத்தில் இருந்து விழுந்தான். மார்க்கண்டேயனிடத்திலே என்னை அறிவாயா என கேட்க,   மார்கண்டேயனும்  அவனிடம்  "இமயமலையில் பிராவாரகர்ணன் என்ற ஒரு ஆந்தை வாழ்கிறது. அது என்னைவிட முதிர்ந்தது. அது உன்னை அறிந்திருக்கலாம் என உரைக்க  இந்திரத்யும்னன் குதிரையாக மாறி, அந்த ஆந்தை வாழுமிடத்திற்கு செல்ல அந்த ஆந்தை, "இந்திரத்யும்னம் என்ற பெயரில் ஒரு தடாகம் இருக்கிறது. அந்தத் தடாகத்தில் நாதீஜங்கம் என்ற பெயரில் ஒரு கொக்கு வசிக்கிறது. அது எங்களை விட முதிர்ந்தது, நீர் அதனிடம் கேட்கலாம்" என்றது.  கொக்கு   "இதே தடாகத்திலேயே வசிக்கும் அகூபாரம் என்ற பெயர் கொண்ட ஆமை   என்னைவிட வயது  முதிர்ந்தது என்றது.    ஆமை சிறிது நேரம் சிந்தித்து நான் இவரை அறிவேன். வேள்வி நெருப்புக் கிண்டப்படும்போது ஆயிரம் முறை வேள்விக்குச்சிகளை   இவன் இங்கு நட்டிருக்கிறான். வேள்வியின் முடிவில் இவன் அந்தணர்களுக்குத் தானமளித்த பசுக்களின் குளம்படிகளால் தோண்டப்பட்டதே இத்தடாகம். நான் அதுமுதல் இங்கேயே வாழ்கிறேன்  என்றது.  இது வயதையோ ஒரு மனிதனையே நினனவு கூறும் சாதாரண கதையல்ல.   அறச் செயல்கள் உலகத்தில் பரவி பல காலம் நீடித்து இருக்கும்.  தீச்செயல்கள் செய்தவர்கள் அதன் பயனாக  கடின தாழ்ந உலகங்களிலேயே நீடிப்பார்கள் என்ற அறக்கதை

எம்பெருமான் பறந்து வந்து யானைக்கு அருள்செய்த பிரபாவத்தை  ஸ்ரீபூதத்தாழ்வார் தமது இரண்டாம் திருவந்தாதியில் :  Here is one of the verses of Boothathazhwar:

ஆழியான் பாதம் பணிந்தன்றே* வானவர்கோன்

பாழிதான்    எய்திற்றுப் பண்டு.

யானையானது பலம் பொருந்தியது.  கஜேந்திரன் யானைகளின் தலைவன்.  காற்சங்கிலியை முறித்துக் கையிற்கொண்டு பதறியோடுந் தன்மையதான மதயானையானது  விசாலமாயிருந்த பொய்கையிலே  மலர்ந்து ஓங்கியிருக்கிற அழகிய தாமரைப் பூவை (எம்பெருமானுக்கு ஸமர்ப்பிப்பதற்காக)க் கையிற் கொண்டுவர தடாகத்தில் இறங்கிய நிலையிலே கரா எனும் முதலையின்   வாயிலகப்பட்டு விடுவித்துக் கொள்ள முடியாத  பெருந்துன்பமுண்டாக, ஐயகோ - செவ்வியழிவதற்கு முன்னே இந்த மலர்களை எம்பெருமானுக்கு ஸமர்ப்பிக்க முடியாமற் போய் விடுமோவென்று  மனம் பதறி, தேவாதிதேவனை துதிக்க,   திருவாழியைக் கையிலேந்தின எம்பெருமானுடைய திருவடிகளை (தியானித்து) வணங்கியதனாலன்றோ அந்த கஜேந்திரம்  தேவாதி தேவனுடைய இருப்பிடமான பரமபதத்தை  அடைந்தது.  நாமும் மனமுருகி அவ்வெம்பெருமானை துதித்தால் உடனே வந்து நம்மை காப்பற்றுவான் நம் ஸ்ரீமந்நாரணன் என உரைக்கிறார்  ஸ்ரீபூதத்தாழ்வார்
