Sree Rama Navami .... the birthday of Lord Sri Rama

The Greatest of Ithihasa purana ‘Sri Ramayanam’  is the undiluted history of the Greatest Person who descended on this Universe, on the banks of river Sarayu, in a prosperous country called ‘Koshala’ – the city of Ayodhya founded by the renowned Manu, ruled the mighty monarchs including Sagara and his sixty thousand sons, Bhagiratha and Dasaratha  in the dynasty of Ikshwaku. 

Today (8^th April 2014)  is the holy day of Sree Rama Navami – the day on which Lord Sri Ramachandramurthy, the supreme avatar was born in the blessed land of Ayodhya.  Lord Rama descended on earth for the purpose of upholding righteousness and rewarding virtue. His life is the subject of ‘The Ramayana’,  the greatest Ithihasa detailing the life and journey of the immortal Perfect man’s adherence to dharma despite harsh tests of life and time. Lord Rama is the epitome of all virtues and the perfect human being who abandoned the throne and served exile in the forest for the sake of honour of his beloved father.

பகைவர்களே இல்லாத, உயர்ந்த மதில்களை உடைய அயோத்தி மாநகரத்திலே, சூர்ய குல திலகனாய்  மன்னுபுகழ் கௌசலை தன் மணிவயிறு வாய்த்தவர்  ஸ்ரீராம பிரான். அனைத்து கல்யாண குணங்களும் ஒரு சேரப் பெற்ற இராமபிரான், தசரதரின் மகனாக சித்திரை மாதம் சுக்ல பக்ஷ நவமியில் அவதரித்தார். இராமர் அப்பழுக்கு இல்லாத  மனிதனாக வாழ்ந்து காட்டியவர்.  இராமச்சந்திர மூர்த்தியின் பேரை சொன்னாலே எல்லா வளமும் பெருகும். 

தந்தை சொல் மிக்க மந்திரம் இல்லை என தந்தையின் ஒரே வார்த்தை கேட்டு,  “ பாராளும் படர்செல்வம் பரதநம்பிக்கேயருளி; ஆராவன் பிளையவனோடருங்கான மடைந்தவன்’  - பூமி முழுவதையும் ஆட்சி புரிகையாகிற பெரிய ராஜ்ய ஸம்பத்தை,   ஸ்ரீபரதாழ்வானுக்கே நியமித்துவிட்டு, இளையபெருமாளுடன்  கொடிய வனம் ஏகியவன். 

**அன்று சராசரங்களை வைகுந்தத்தேற்றி அடலரவப் பகையேறியசுரர் தம்மை வென்று இலங்கு மணிநெடுந்தோள் நான்கும் தோன்ற விண்முழுது மெதிர்வரத்தன் தாமம் மேவி சென்றினிது வீற்றிருந்த வம்மான் றன்னை........  நாளும் இறைஞ்சுமினோ !!! ** ஸ்ரீமன் நாராயணனின் திருவுருவான ஸ்ரீ ராமபிரான், அயோத்யாபுரியிலுள்ள  ஜங்கமும் தாவரமுமான எல்லாவுயிர்களையும்  பரமபதத்துக்குப் தம்முடன் கூட்டிச் சென்றவன். வலிமையையுடைய பாம்புகளுக்குப் பகையான கருடன் மேல் ஏறிக்கொண்டு அசுரர்களை கதி கலங்கச் செய்தவன் .

மேன்மை தங்கிய பரமபதத்திலே  இனிமையாகத் திவ்யஸிம்ஹாஸநத்தில் எழுந்தருளியிருக்கிற இராமபிரானை    தினந்தோறும் வணங்கி, எப்போதும் இராமபிரானது சரிதையை செவியால் கண்ணால் பருகுபவர்களுக்கு இம்மையிலும் மறுமையிலும்  எவ்வெப்போதும்  எல்லா நன்மைகளும் உண்டாகும்.
