new Exoplanet SPECULOOS-3 ~ பல கதிர்கள் பாரித்த பைம்பொன் முடியான்

Where are We ! and what do we do !?!  Earth – our home planet – is the third planet from the Sun, and the fifth largest planet. It's the only place we know of inhabited by living things.  Other than the major planets, thousands more planets have been discovered beyond our solar system. Scientists call them exoplanets (exo means "from outside"). 

How big is our Universe ! – every few years, newer discoveries seem to expand them bigger and more.  Astronomers have now discovered an Earth-size planet orbiting an ultracool red dwarf star similar in size to Jupiter. The red dwarf, located some 55 light-years away, is 100 times less bright than the sun and exhibits half the temperature of our star. 

This new extrasolar planet, or exoplanet, is named SPECULOOS-3 and represents just the second time astronomers have discovered a planetary system around a red dwarf star, the first being the Trappist-1 system.  Days and nights on SPECULOOS-3 b seem to be endless: The planet is likely to be tidally locked, so the same side—the "dayside"—always faces the star in a relationship similar to our moon and Earth. 

For a Srivaishnavaite, there is no worrying of how big or what the Universe is – we for sure know Sriman Narayana is supreme and the soul protector of Universe that we have known and those parts which are yet to be known.

ஆழ்வார் தமது மனதை விளித்து கூறுகிறார் :  எனது மனமே!  உலகங்களும், ஸம்ஹாரகாலமும்,  ஆழி எனும் பெருங்கடல்களும், அழகிய நிறத்தையும் பரம்பின கிரணங்களையுமுடைய சந்திர ஸூர்யர்களும், சிவந்த நிறத்தையுடைத்தான அக்னியும் -  ஆகிய இப்பொருள்களெல்லாம் தனக்கு ப்ரகாரமாம்படி நிற்பவனும், பல கிரணங்களைப் புறப்பட விடுகின்ற அழகிய பொன்முடியையுடையவனுமான எம்பெருமானுடைய உபயபாதங்களுக்கே  பரிபூரணமாக விருப்பங்கொள்ளுவாயாக!  அத்தகைய சிறந்த ஸ்ரீமந்நாராயணனை அடைவதே நமக்கு உகப்பு.  அவனே எல்லா காலங்களிலும் நம்மை காப்பற்றவல்லவன்.  .
