Pallava Uthsavam 4 - 2023 - Pink moon !!

திருவல்லிக்கேணியில் நடைபெற்று வரும் பல்லவ உத்சவத்தில் இன்று 4ம் நாள் ஸ்ரீரங்கநாதர் சிகத்தாடை கிரீடமணிந்து, குளக்கரை புறப்பாடு கண்டருளினார்.  நாளை பங்குனி உத்திரம்,  பௌர்ணமியும் கூட !  - திவ்யதம்பதிகள் ஸ்ரீ வேதவல்லித்தாயார்  ஸ்ரீமந்நாதர் திருக்கல்யாணம்.  

இன்று வானில் நிலா அழகாக தெரிந்தது.  நாளை பௌர்ணமியில் இன்னமும் அழகாக காணப்படும்.   சூரியக்குடும்பத்தில் உள்ள பெரிய துணைக்கோள் சந்திரன்.  நிலா தன்னைத்தானே சுற்றிக்கொண்டு  பூமியை ஒரு நீள் வட்டப் பாதையில் சுற்றி வருகிறது. இதற்காக சந்திரன் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளும் கால அவகாசம் 29½ நாட்கள் ஆகும்.  

ஒவ்வொரு நட்சத்திரக் கூட்டத்திலும் (ராசியிலும்) சூரியன் இருக்க, உருவாகும் பௌர்ணமியை வைத்து தமிழ் மாதங்கள் பிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. அதனால்தான் திங்கள் எனும் பெயர் சந்திரனுக்கு !!    சந்திரன் மாதங்களை குறிகாட்டும் கிரகமாகும்.  ஒவ்வொரு மாதத்திலும் சந்திரன் எந்த நட்சத்திரம் மீது நின்று பௌர்ணமி உருவாகிறதோ அந்த நட்சத்திரப் பெயரிலே மாதங்கள் பெயரிடப்பட்டன.  

The Moon is Earth's only natural satellite. It is the fifth largest satellite in the Solar System and the largest and most massive relative to its parent planet.  Today comes the news that US space agency Nasa has named the four astronauts who will take humanity back to the Moon, after a 50-year gap. Christina Koch will become the first woman astronaut ever assigned to a lunar mission, while Victor Glover will be the first black astronaut on one. They will join Reid Wiseman and Jeremy Hansen to fly a capsule around the Moon late next year or early in 2025. The astronauts won't land on the Moon, but their mission will pave the way for a touchdown by a subsequent crew.  

In March 2023, the earth stood witness to Venus appearing right below a crescent moon against a dark sky. Excited stargazers and astrophotographers brought out their equipment to capture this marvellous moment.  In April 2023, another such significant astronomical event awaits us — a full pink moon.

The April full moon overlaps with the year’s Passover or Paschal moon, implying it would be at its highest illumination for the first time after the spring equinox on 20 March. As per a NASA report, the Maine Farmers’ Almanac calls it the pink moon, as it is the first full moon of spring, which is conventionally heralded by the widespread growth of the Phlox subulata wildflower in North America. The flower commonly goes by the names of creeping phlox, moss phlox or moss pink, from which this full moon gets its name.  

Marking a period of new growth and revival, the pink moon will have its influence on the zodiac signs. While some need to take stock of things, others can look forward to enjoying a stable and prosperous time. April's full moon, also known as the "Pink Moon," will shine bright in the sky this week. Despite the title, the moon won't look pink;  it derives its name from the early springtime bloom of a wildflower commonly known as moss pink.   

பெருந்தேவனார்  என்று ஒரு சங்க  கால புலவர். பெருந்தேவனார் என்ற பெயருடைய பிறபுலவர்களினின்றும் வேறானவர் என்று அறிய, பாரதம் பாடிய பெருந்தேவனார் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டார். தொகை நூல்களின் உள்ளே பெருந்தேவனார் பாடிய பாடல் ஒன்று கூட இல்லை.  வியாச பாரதத்தை வெண்பாவும் அகவலும் உரைநடையும் விரவிவரப் பாடி வெளியிட்டமையால் பாரதம் பாடிய பெருந்தேவனார் என்று அழைக்கப்பெற்றார். இவர் பிறந்தது  தொண்டை மண்டலத்தில். சங்கநூல்கள் தொகுக்கப்பட்ட காலத்தவர். எட்டுத்தொகை நூல்களைத் தொகுத்தவர். இவரது கடவுள் வாழ்த்துப் பாடல்களை நூலுக்குத் தொடக்கப் பாடலாக அமைந்துள்ளன.   புறநானூறு, அகநானூறு, ஐங்குறுநூறு ஆகிய மூன்றிலே சிவபெருமானையும், குறுந்தொகையில் செவ்வேளையும், நற்றிணையில் திருமாலையும் இவர் வாழ்த்தியுள்ளார்.  

மா நிலம் சேவடி ஆக, தூ நீர்

வளை நரல் பௌவம் உடுக்கை ஆக,

விசும்பு மெய் ஆக, திசை கை ஆக

பசுங்கதிர் மதியமொடு சுடர் கண் ஆக

இயன்ற எல்லாம் பயின்று அகத்து அடக்கிய

வேத முதல்வன், என்ப

தீது அற விளங்கிய திகிரியோனே  

என நற்றிணைக்குக் கடவுள் வாழ்த்துப்பாடி, திருமாலை முழுமுதற் கடவுளாகக் காட்டுகின்றார். திருமால், ஐம்பெரும் பூதம், மதியம், சூரியன், திசை, இப்படி எல்லாம் அவன், அவனே உலகத்து உயிர், உயிர்கள் அனுபவிக்கும் பொருள், வேதத்தின் பொருள் எனவே அவனை வணங்குவோம் என்பர்.  நிலத்தை அவன் திருவடியாகவும் கடலை அவன் ஆடையாகவும், திசையை அவன் கை ஆகவும், சந்திரன் சூரியன் ஆகியவற்றை அவன் இரு கண்களாகவும் கண்டு உருவகப்படுத்தி உள்ளார். இறைவனையும் இயற்கையையும் பிரித்தறிய முடியாது என்பது பொருள்.
