Nee dayaraadaa raamaa - Thiruvallikkeni Sree Ramar theppam 2023 - உன் தயவில்லையா ராமா !!

Mere chanting of the name ‘Sree Rama’ would provide everything to us ~ HE  is the greatest benefactor ~ the Maryadha Purush ~ the greatest epitome of all virtues Lord Sri Ramachandra Murthi.   By  listening to the highly meaningful and auspicious poetical composition of Sri Ramayana, a person gets all good things and his family would ever be prosperous,  augmentation in money and grain, superior quality of life, peace of mind,  exquisite happiness and all the acquisition of wealth on this earth.  .. .. Sree Rama pattabishekam is fulfillment total and complete. 

Thiyagayya (Thiyagarajar) was immersed in bakthi and many of his keerthanas were on Sree Rama.  Most likely you have heard of ‘Nee daya radha !!”

Kaadane vaarevaru ; Kaadane vaarevaru … kalyana raamaa  

O RAma of most auspicious attributes, I yearn and am yet to obtain your grace. If you choose to, none dare to stand in your way.  Why such an inordinate delay. O Scion of the solar race in showering your grace !!  

More than Sri Ramachandra Murthi, it is Seetha piratti who with Her abundant grace ensures that Emperuman is benevolent to us and here is the allikkeni Gopuram under Her gracious hands.  

Vasanthabhairavi is the janya of the 14th melakarta raga Vagulabharanam. An attractive raga, Vasanthabhairavi is  familiar even to the untrained ear. This is because there are very few compositions in this raga, and are oft-repeated by most artistes. The most well-loved piece in this raga would be ‘Ni Dayarada’ of Tyagaraja.   

"உன் தயவில்லையா ராமச்சந்திரா' என்கிற ரூபக தாளத்தில் அமைந்த பாடலை வசந்தபைரவி ராகத்தில் பல இசை வல்லுநர்கள் பாடக்கேட்டு இருப்பீர்கள்.  சிந்து பைரவி திரைப்படம் 1985 ம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்த ஒரு இசைக்காவியம் . இயக்குனர் சிகரம்  எனப்பட்ட கே.பாலச்சந்தர் இயக்கத்தில் இசைஞானி இளையராஜா அவர்களின் இசைப் பிரவாஹத்தில் அற்புதமான பாடல்களை கொண்ட  திரைப்படம்.  வேற்றுமொழிக் கீர்த்தனைகளை தமிழில் மொழிபெயர்க்கவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லி நாயகன்  ஜேகேபி  "நீ தயராதா" என்று பாட சிந்து   தமிழில் மொழிபெயர்ப்பாக  "உன் தயவில்லையா" என்று பாடுவதாக மிக சிறப்பாக அமைந்து இருந்தது.  

Today, 25^th Feb 2023 is day 6 of theppothsavam – today  it was Theppothsavam of Lord Rama – and it was the most beautiful sarrupadu [alankaram] as ‘Pattabisheka Ramar’ – Lakshmana holding the umbrella and Sita seated on His left.  One can also have darshan of ‘siriya thiruvadi’ [Lord Hanuman] near his Lotus feets.  

Pooja (transl. Prayer ritual) a Telegu hit was released in  1975 directed by Murugan-Kumaran and produced by AVM Productions. It was a remake of the 1974 Kannada film Eradu Kanasu.  You  may hear the song in P Susheela voice from this film  :
