Mar 2014 marked the concluding day of the 5 day Thavana Uthsavam at
Thiruvallikkeni divyadesam whence Sri Parthasarathi had purappadu to Thavana
Uthsava bungalow and had rest under the roof made of dhavanam (தவனம்) [Artemisia
pallens] – an aromatic herb.
On
Every day of the Uthsavam, it is different alankaram [sarrupadi] and today Sri
Parthasarathi dazzled adorning a kireedam called ‘Sigathadai’. It
is a wonderful Crown where reams of jasmine flower are tightly rolled
and draped with an ornate red silk. Sri Parthasarathi wearing such
Kireedam bestowed darshan as the Emperor.
