Acaryar Alavanthar Sthothra Rathnam

अकृत्रिमत्वच्चरणारविन्द-    प्रेमप्रकर्षावधिमात्मवन्तम् ।

पितामहं नाथमुनिं विलोक्य,  प्रसीद मद्वृत्तमचिन्तयित्वा ॥ ६५॥

pithAmaham nAthamunim vilOkya; prasIdha mathvruththam achinthayithvA ||

 

1.8.2023 ஆடி  மாத உத்திராட நக்ஷத்திரம். சுப நாள்.  ஆச்சார்யன் ஆளவந்தார் சாற்றுமுறை** ஆளவந்தார்  அருளிச் செய்த நூல்கள் " எட்டு"   -   இவற்றுள் ஸ்தோத்ரரத்னம், சதுஸ்லோகி, சித்தித்ரயம், ஸ்ரீகீதார்த்த ஸங்க்ரஹம், ஆகமப்ராமாண்யம், மகாபுருஷ நிர்ணயம் இவை முக்கியமானவை.

 

Alavanthar in concluding verse of Sthothra Rathanam prays – Oh Emperuman, you should mercifully pardon adiyen without considering my conduct (which he calls as one with mistakes!)  pardon me seeing  Nathamunigal  who is the epitome of natural love towards your divine lotus feet, who is self realised and in whose lineage I am born .. ..

 

In the divine land of Thiruvallikkeni, if only, we care to look around, one could notice so many learned, devoted persons committed to the lotus feet of Lord. Yesterday was  happy to see a group of devotees (Telugu speaking from Guntur – disciples of Sri HH Tritandi Sriman Narayana Jeeyar swami) reciting Sthothra rathnam when purappadu was about to commence.
