Sri Azhagiya Singar Hanumathan vahanam 2018

ஸ்ரீ இராமாயணத்திலே ஸ்ரீ ஹனுமான் அற்புத பாத்திரம்  ~ வாஹனங்களிலே நம்மை கவர்வது கருட, ஹனுமந்த வாகனங்கள்! ஆற்றல்மிகுதி, கூர்மையான அறிவு,  திண்ணமான எண்ணங்கள் – அமைதியான மனம், எடுத்துக்கொண்ட செயலை செவ்வனே செய்து முடிக்கும் தீர்மை, காரியத்தில் உறுதி, மனம் தளராமை, நம்பிக்கையின் முழுஉருவம் -  இவை அனைத்தும் அஞ்சனை மைந்தனான சிரஞ்சீவி ஹனுமான்.

The son of Vayu – Hanumar is the epitome of great virtues ~  a great character – a warrior, mightily powerful, whose body was as hard as a diamond, whose speed equalled those of fastest flying eagles, who possessed great wisdom, who could organize a group of roaming ones, who can jump hundreds of miles, yet who remained at the feet of his Master, totally committed thinking of their welfare alone – unassuming, yet capable of telling the right things at the right moment – that is PavanaPuthra Hanuman.  Sri Aanjaneyar is called 'siriya thiruvadi' - bearer of Lord Sri Rama ~ as he carried Rama on his broad shoulders during the slaying of Ravana asura.  

In every divyadesam in Brahmothsavam, Hanumantha vahanam is enrapturing.  In thondai mandalam, hanumantha vahanam will be on the night of 5^th day. On 27^th June 2018, in the ongoing Brahmothsavam – in the morning it was Nachiyar Thirukolam, in the evening Yoga Narasimha thirukolam and then it was grand vahana purappadu – Hanumantha vahanam.
