Thiruvallikkeni Azhagiya Singar Thavanothsavam - day 3

Earlier I have posted about  Azhagiya Singar Thavanothsavam starting from  ~ 29th Mar 2013.  This is held for 3 days and today 31st Mar 2013 is the concluding day.

The highlight of  Azhagiya Singar Uthsavam is ‘sarrupadi ~ the special alankarams for Lord Azhagiya Singa, the manifestation of Narasimha.  On all the 3 days, Sri Azhagiya Singar is bedecked in Krishna Avathara viseshams.   On day 1, it was Kalinga Narthana thirukolam, the rest of the days, it was Krishna wielding and playing the flute  - On 2nd day, it was Nindra thirukolam [standing posture]; today it was the impeccable sitting posture that was a feast to all bakthas.

Here are some photos taken during today’s purappadu.
