Celebrating birth of Sree Krishna 2024

Today 27.8.2024 is Avani 11 – Navami, Rohini Nakshathiram, grandly celebrated as ‘Sri Jayanthi’ – celebrating birth of Bhagwan Sree Krishna.

 

At Thiruvallikkeni divaydesam,  few minutes back, hundreds of devotees had darshan of Kannan kaithalasevai from periya sannathi to maha mandapam, followed by thirumanjanam.  Krishna is born in every house and devotees welcome Him with choicest sweets, butter and fruits.

 

Here is a beautiful Krishna at Rukmani hall, Triplicane, Krishna born at my home and the sweets pictured at another place.
