எம்பெருமான் எத்தகையவன் ? - இவ்வண்டத்தில் உள்ள பரமாணுக்கள் யாவற்றையும் தன்னுள் அடக்கியவன்.  

Tomorrow is a day of significance elsewhere in the World. In 1775, the people in the thirteen American colonies commenced their struggle for independence from British rule under King George III. This conflict marked the beginning of the American Revolutionary War, a fight driven by the colonists' desire for self-governance and freedom from oppressive British policies. The momentum for independence culminated on July 2, 1776, when Congress secretly voted in favor of breaking away from Great Britain, setting the stage for a historic declaration. 

Two days after the decisive vote, on July 4, 1776, the final wording of the Declaration of Independence was approved and the document was officially published, marking a pivotal moment in American history. The Declaration's first public reading occurred on July 8, 1776, allowing the colonists to hear the momentous news. 

US Independence Day 2024, celebrated on July 4th, will mark 248 years since the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. This national holiday commemorates the birth of the United States as an independent nation, with festivities including fireworks, parades, concerts, and family gatherings across the country.  The day is a   federal holiday with government offices, schools, stock market remaining closed.   

It may seem remarkable that no American spent the Fourth of July holiday in space for the first 21 years of human spaceflight. Not until 1982 and the 35th U.S. human spaceflight did Americans awaken in space on Independence Day, and then bring their spacecraft back to Earth later in the day to a rousing welcome by the President of the United States.  On July 4, 1982, the final day of their flight, astronauts Thomas K. ‘TK’ Mattingly and Henry W. “Hank” Hartsfield guided space shuttle Columbia to its first concrete runway landing at Edwards Air Force Base in California. President Ronald W. Reagan, who two years later instructed NASA to develop a space station, and First Lady Nancy Reagan greeted Mattingly and Hartsfield on the runway as they disembarked from Columbia. Through 2024, 73 Americans have celebrated Independence Day in space, eight of them twice, each in a unique style.

ஒருவரை, ஒரு பொருளின் சிறப்பை உணர - அவற்றின் சிறப்பை உணர்ந்து அறிய வேண்டும் ! ~ நம் எம்பெருமான் எத்தகையவன்  - அளத்தற்கரியவன் !! - அவனது சிறப்புகளை ஆழ்வார்கள் வாயமுதமாகவே அறிவது உயர்ந்தது அல்லவா !! 

 

புகழும் நல் ஒருவனென்கோ  ?   – பொருவில்சீர்ப் பூமியென்கோ ?

திகழுந்தண் பரவையென்கோ?  – தீயென்கோ வாயுவென்கோ ?

நிகழும்  ஆகாசம் என்கோ  !  – நீள்சுடரிரண்டும்  என்கோ

இகழ்வில்  இவ்வனைத்தும் என்கோ  !  – கண்ணனைக் கூவுமாறே!

 

உலகத்து எல்லா சத்பொருள்களையும் தனக்குச் சரீரமாகவுடையவன்.  வேத முதல்வன், விளங்கு புரிநூலன் என வேதங்கள் இதிஹாஸ புராணங்கள் போன்றவற்றால்  புகழ்ந்து கூறப்பெற்ற விலக்ஷணமான குணங்கள் முதலியவற்றையுடைய ஒப்பற்றவன் என்று சொல்வேனோ? ஒப்பில்லாத சிறப்புக்களையுடைய பூமியென்று சொல்வேனோ?விளங்குகிற நீர்நிலையென்று சொல்வேனோ?அக்கினியென்பேனோ? காற்று என்பேனோ? எங்குமுளதான ஆகாசமென்பேனோ?  தகிக்கும் ஸூர்யன், தண்மையான சந்திரன் என  இரண்டு சுடர்களுமென்பேனோ? இகழப்படுதலில்லாத (வேண்டும் பொருள்களாகக் கைக் கொள்ளுதற்கு உரிய) இவையெல்லாப் பொருள்களுமென்பேனோ?  உயர்ந்த கல்யாண குணங்களை உள்ள எம்பெருமானை என்ன சொல்லி, எப்படி அழைப்பேன் ? - பரம்பொருளை யான் இன்னதென்று  உணறேன் என்கிறார் சுவாமி நம்மாழ்வார் தமது திருவாய்மொழி மூன்றாம் பத்து  - நான்காம் திருவாய்மொழியிலே 

 

To those of us who stand near and worship Sri Parthasarathi Perumal at Thiruvallikkeni, one day could come realization of the greatness, the uniqueness, the unparalleled brilliance of Emperuman – and one need not falter for words to describe His brilliance.  Swami Nammalwar in his Thiruvaimozhi says of Emperuman – He is the famed one ! ~ who contains and has in Himself, the blemishless earth, cool wide mighty Ocean, the fire, the wind, the all pervasive space, the bright Sun, cool moon ~ and the rest and more ! .. .. and how do we call our great Emperuman, the supreme Paramathma 

– simply call Him by the thousands of name that our Azhwars and Acaryas praised, just think of Him, fall at His lotus feet – and get rid of all our sins. Here are some photos of  Aani Rohini purappadu today.
