Oh Varaha, the incarnation of Lord Sriman Narayana, the supreme among all Gods. It is HE who assumes the form of a wild boar; with teeth as hard as diamond, slays the demons and protects us like a shield.
Interestingly, Gangamoola, a hill in the Chikkamagaluru district of the
state of Karnataka is also known as Varaha Parvata. It is
one of the hills in the Western Ghats range and is known for being the source
of three rivers, Tunga, Bhadra and Netravathi.
