கமுகு என்பது பாக்கு மரம். பாக்கின் தாவரவியல் பெயர் Areca catechu. The areca nut is in fact, the fruit of the areca palm (Areca catechu), which grows in much of the tropical Pacific (Melanesia and Micronesia), South Asia, Southeast Asia, and parts of east Africa. It is commonly referred to as betel nut. They are commonly consumed in South India, especially Tamil Nadu, after food as a digestive along with betel leaves.

Coincidence would mean happening at the same time. An occasion when two or more similar things happen at the same time, especially in a way that is unlikely and surprising. The things may not consequential – the rationalist too knows that coincidences are inevitable, and mostly are mundane, meaningless. Yet there is no denial that there is something strange and magical in them.
You dream of a good looking girl and want to talk to her – you get up and go for a morning walk – when you park your vehicle, the vehicle being parked next is that of the same girl – what a coincidence, some of which could give supernatural feel. One may feel like keeping a journal and record dreams if they are especially vivid or strange. Some weird strange things could happen !!
On August 6 and 9, 1945, the United States detonated two nuclear bombs over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The blasts, and the radiation they caused afterward, killed nearly 90,000 people. After more than half a century, in 2009, the Japanese government confirmed that there was at least one man who was in each city on the days of the bombings, and lived to tell the tale. On August 6, Tsutomu Yamaguchi was in Hiroshima on a business trip. “As I was walking along, I heard the sound of a plane, just one,” he told a British newspaper. “I looked up into the sky and saw the B-29, and it dropped two parachutes. I was looking up into the sky at them, and suddenly … it was like a flash of magnesium, a great flash in the sky, and I was blown over.” By August 9, he had returned home to Nagasaki, only to experience the trauma for a second time. Despite the double radiation exposure, Yamaguchi lived to be 93. He passed away in 2010 from stomach cancer.
சீர்காழி (Sirkazhi) தமிழ்நாட்டின் மயிலாடுதுறை மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள சீர்காழி வட்டத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள நகரம். நகராட்சியின் வடக்கே ஏழு கிலோ மீட்டர் தொலைவில் கொள்ளிடம் ஆறும், ஊரின் நடுவில் கழுமலையாறு மற்றும் தெற்கு எல்லையில் உப்பனாறு எனும் ஆறுகள் ஓடும் வளமான நிலப்பகுதியைக் கொண்டது. சீர்காழி நகரின் நடுவே புகழ்பெற்ற திருஞானசம்பந்தர் சன்னதி அமைந்துள்ளது. இது சட்டநாதர் கோவில் என பிரசித்தி பெற்ற சிவத்தலம். இங்கே தாடாளன் கோவில் எனும் தலம் - 108 திவ்யதேசங்களில் ஒன்றும் கூட.
தில்லைத் திருச்சித்திர கூடத்தில் கோவிந்தராஜப் பெருமாளைச் சேவித்துவிட்டு சோழநாட்டின் தலைவாசலில் உள்ள சீர்காழி திவ்ய தேசத்திற்கு தம்முடைய சீடர்களோடு திருமங்கை மன்னன் எழுந்து அருள்கிறார். அவரை வரவேற்க பலரும் காத்திருக்கிறார்கள். “பரகாலன் வந்தார், அரட்டமுக்கி வந்தார், அடையார் சீயம் வந்தார், கலியன் வந்தார், நாலு கவிப் பெருமாள் வந்தார்” என்று பல விருதுகளின் முழக்கம் விண்ணை முட்டுகிறது. அங்கே சைவ சமயத்தில் இருந்த ஞானசம்பந்தப் பெருமானின் அடியார்கள், “இவ்விடத்தில் இப்படி விருது ஓதுவது தகாது” என்று சொல்ல, அது சிறிய விவாதமாக மாறி, ஞானசம்பந்தர் அங்கே வருகிறார். திருமங்கை ஆழ்வாரிடம் அவர், “ஒரு குறள் பாடுக” என்று கேட்க, அவர் சொன்ன வார்த்தையை அடிப்படையாகக்கொண்டு, எண் அலங்காரமாக - ஒரு குறளாய் இரு நிலம் மூவடி மண் வேண்டி உலகு அனைத்தும் ஈரடியால் ஒடுக்கி ஒரு பதிகத்தைப் பாடுகின்றார்.
அந்தச் செய்யுளின் நலத்தையும், சந்த நலத்தையும், பொருட் சிறப்புகளையும் கண்ட ஞானசம்பந்தர், “உமக்கு ஓதப்பட்ட விருதுகள் அனைத்தும் பொருந்தும்” என்று சொல்லி, அவருக்கு ஒரு வேலும் பரிசாகத் தந்தார் என்று தல வரலாறு சொல்லுகிறது. இத்தலம் இருந்த பகுதிக்கு பாடலீக வனம் என்றும், க்ஷேத்திரத்திற்கு “உத்தம ஷேத்திரம்” என்றும் உரோமசர் என்னும் மகாமுனிவர் இங்கு தவமியற்றியதாகவும், முனிவரின் வேண்டுகோளுக்கு இசைந்து எம்பெருமான் அவருக்கு திரிவிக்ரம அவதாரத்தைக் காட்டியருளியதாகவும் தல வரலாறு. ஸ்ரீ திருக் காழிச் சீராம விண்ணகரம்- மூலவர் ஸ்ரீ த்ரி க்கிரமன், ஸ்ரீ தாடாளன்;தாயார் ஸ்ரீ லோக நாயகி, ஸ்ரீ மட்டவிழ் குழலி; தீர்த்தம் ஸ்ரீ சங்க புஷ்கரணி; விமானம் ஸ்ரீ புஷ்கலா வர்த்த விமானம்.

செவ்வாய்" - பாசுரத்தில் -:
"அணில்கள் தாவ நெட்டிலைய கருங்கமுகின் செங்காய் வீழ
நீள்பலவின் தாழ்சினையில் நெருங்கு, பீனத் தெட்டபழம் சிதைந்து
மதுச் சொரியும் காழிச் சீராம விண்ணகரே
சேர்மினீரே"
- என மங்களாசாசனம் செய்தருள்கிறார்.
மனதை கவரும் அணிற்பிள்ளைகள் கிளை கிளையாகத் தாவித் தவழ்வதனால், நீண்ட இலைகளையுடைய கறுத்த பாக்கு மரங்களின் பழுக்காய்கள் உதிர்ந்து விழுகின்றனவாம்; நீண்ட பலாமரங்களினுடைய காய்களின் கனத்தால் தாழ்ந்த கிளைகளில் நெருங்கியிருக்கிற பருத்த கனியப்பழுத்த பலாப் பழங்கள் நசுங்கி தேனைப் பொழியுமிடமான இடம் காழிச்சீராம விண்ணகரம் (என்கிற சீர்காழி) என்பது ஆழ்வார் வாக்கு.

ஒரு ஊரில் மரங்களை உலுக்கி பழங்களை எடுத்து உண்ணும் ஒரு சிறுவன், தெட்ட பழம் என்றால்
(மேலே பாசுரத்தில் சொல்லப்பட்ட தெட்ட பழம்) “பழுத்த பழம்” என உணர்த்தும் வட்டார மொழி
சொல் என்று கூற, அவனை மிக வாழ்த்தினாராம்.
