Manavala Mamunigal Thiruvavathara Uthsavam 2020 ~ வரவரமுநயே நமோ நமஸ்தே

ஸ்ரீவைணவம் ஒரு எளிய மார்க்கம்.  சிரியபதியான எம்பெருமான் ஸ்ரீமன் நாரணன் மிகவும் எளியன்.  அவனை அடைவதே நமது இலட்சியம்.  அவனடி சேர நமக்கு துணை புரிவோர் நமது ஆசார்யர்கள்.  நமது ஆசார்யர் ஸ்வாமி மணவாளமாமுனிகளின்  650வது  திருவவதார மஹோத்ஸவம் திங்கள் முதல் துவங்குகிறது.  நாம் ஆனந்திக்கின்றோம்.  ஸ்வாமி நம்மாழ்வாரின் பெரிய திருவந்தாதி பாசுரம் இங்கே :

  

உணர ஒருவர்க்கு  எளியனே? செவ்வே,

இணரும் துழாய்  அலங்கல் எந்தை,-உணரத்

தனக்கெளியர்  எவ்வளவர் அவ்வளவனானால்,

எனக்கெளியன் எம்பெருமான் இங்கு.

 

எம்பெருமான் மிகவும் சௌலப்யன்.  அவனது திருமேனியில் திருத்துழாய் எப்போதும் தவழும்.  அப்படி, அவரது திருமேனியின் ஸம்பந்தத்தாலே,  மேன்மேலும் தழைத்தோங்குகின்ற திருத்துழாய் மாலையையுடைய எம்பெருமான் தனக்கு அடிமைப்பட்டவர்கள்,  தன்மேல் எவ்வளவு அன்பு உடையவர்களோ, தானும் தன்னை அவ்வளவு தன்னை தந்து அருள்பவன் .  தன்னிடம் சரண் அடைபவர்களின் எல்லா நலனுக்கும் தானே பொறுப்பு ஆகி, அவர்களுக்கு அருள் தந்து, காத்து அருளும் அற்புதன். அத்தகையான எம்பெருமானை சரண் அடைந்தபின், நம் போன்ற பக்தர்களுக்கு எவ்வித கவலையுமே  இல்லை. 

 

The whole Sri Vaishnava World is rejoicing at the very thought of sarrumurai celebrations of great Acaryar.  Generally Acaryar Sarrumurai “Aippaisyil Thirumoolam” will fall in November and 4^th (or 5^th) day would be Deepavali.  This year it starts on Monday, 12^th Oct 2020 (Purattasi 26) – from 17.10 would be Navarathri uthsavam and on Wednesday 21.10.2020 would be the grand Sarrumurai celebrations.      

On Sarrumurai day in the morning would be  Kaithala sevai and grand purappadu of Acaryar Swami Manavala Mamunigal with Sri Parthasarathi -  replete with 20 kudai purappadu.  Sri Erumbiappa in his work  to Varavaramuni Sathakam  extols Acaryar Mamunigal :  

குணமணி நிதயே!  நமோ நமஸ்தே;  குருகுல துர்ய நமோ நமோ நமஸ்தே |
வரவரமுநயே நமோ நமஸ்தே ; யதிவர தத்வ விதே நமோ நமஸ்தே ||  

சிறந்த குணங்களுக்கு நிதியாக இருப்பவரின் பொருட்டு வணக்கம். ஆசார்யர்களில் சிறந்தவரே உமக்கு வணக்கம்.    மணவாள மாமுனிகளே உமக்கு வணக்கம். யதிராஜரின் திருவுள்ளம் அறிந்தவரே உமக்கு வணக்கம். 

                                Acaryar Mamunigal is fondly known as ‘Yatheendra Pravanar’ arising out of his irresistible attachment to the lotus feet of Sri Ramanujar [Yatheendrar].  Sri  Manavala Mamunigal is the incarnation of Adisesha.   One must adore and be attached to their Acharyan and only the direction of Acharyar will lift us from all earthly evils – and for Us fallen at the feet called ‘Ponnadiyam Sengamalam’ – Swami Manavala Mamunigal will direct us and take us to salvation.  Those of us who try and uphold the ideals of our religion and its cultural heritage, will sure be benfitted as it then becomes the responsibility of Acharya to take care of Sishya's Atma guna poorthi.   

Of the many works, ‘Upadesa Rathinamalai’ is one which all of us should know and recite regularly.   In the evening purappadu on Sarrumurai day ~  Acaryar would be with Sri Parthasarathi .  Here are some photos of the evening purappadu of year 2016  in which Iramanuja Noorranthathi was rendered in the goshti.  

இப்படிப்பட்ட கீர்த்திமிகு ரம்ய (அழகிய) ஜாமாதர (மணவாள) முனி (மாமுனிகள்)கள் திருவடிகளுக்கு பல்லாண்டு,  பல்லாண்டு பாடுவோம்.
