25th Sept 2019 was a significant day ~
Purattasi Ekadasi day. On all Ekadasis, there will be periya maada veethi
purappadu of Sri Parthasarathi Swami at Thiruvallikkeni Divyadesam. This Ekadasi was more special. For two decades now, annually Sri Peyalwar from Sri
Adhi Kesava Perumal Devasthanam has been visiting Thiruvallikkeni for
mangalasasanam of the Divyadesa perumal.
So @ 7 pm it was double bonanza – of Peyalwar and Sri Parthasarathi
together having purappadu ~ there was to be more glory – as Sri Parthasarathi was
embellished with exceptionally attractive Rathnangi.
Remember that
there used to be a special Hundi infront of Sri Alawanthar sannathi, with a
black & white portrait of a pic calling for collections towards ‘Vajrangi’ for Perumal; today it was Rathnangi. Rathnam,
could be ‘gem’ – there are precious and semi- precious stones classified as gem,
a piece of mineral crystal – both cut and polished form are used to make
jewellery – this Rathnangi naturally became more attractive as it embellished
our Emperuman.
Hailed
as Thamizh Thalaivan, Sri Peyalwar glorifies Emperuman as
having seen the lotus-dame on the frame of Ocean-hued most bountiful Lord, who
wields a fiery discuss (Chakra) and the dextral conch (Sangam) in His Hands and
radiating more than the Golden Sun ~ what a darshan and how great even to
imagine such a darshan .. .. .. in his Moonram thiruvantathi, Alwar
starts :

நிறமும் கண்டேன்* செருக்கிளரும்

Emperuma Sri Parthasarathi came out dazzling in the streets of Thiruvallikkeni
having adorned the newly submitted Rathnangi ~ and what a sight to behold !
தீங்கரும்பாம் தமிழ்மொழிதனிலே ~ அழகை எவ்வளவு அழகாக சொல்ல இயலும்
? இதோ நம் தமிழ்த்தலைவன் பேயாழ்வாரின்
நல்வாக்கு : ** எழில் அளந்து எண்ணற்கு அரியான் ** எம்பெருமானுடைய திருமேனி அழகு நமது எண்ணங்களுக்கும்
அப்பாற்பட்டது. கண்டவர்களெல்லாரும் நன்கு மதிக்கும்படியான
தேஜஸ்ஸும், எதிரிகளை வாய்மாளப் பண்ணவல்லமிடுக்கும், கண்டார் நெஞ்சையுங் கண்ணையும் கவரும்படியான
வடிவழகும், குற்றமற்ற நற்குடிப்பிறப்பும், மற்றும் நன்மையாகச் சொல்லப்படுமவைகளும் தானேவந்து
சேரும், யாரிடத்திலென்னில், சங்குதங்கு தடங்கையனான எம்பெருமானுடைய திருநாமங்களைக் கற்கவேணுமென்பாரிடத்து.
கழல்தொழுதும் வாநெஞ்சே,
கார்கடல்நீர் வேலை,
பொழிலளந்த புள்ளூர்திச்
செல்வன், - எழிலளந்தங்
எண்ணற்கரியானை எப்பொருட்கும்
சேயானை,
நண்ணற் கரியானை நாம்.

- பரந்து விரிந்திருக்கும் கடல் சூழ்ந்த உலகங்களையெல்லாம் அளந்தவன்; அற்புத பெருமிதத்துக்கொப்ப
பெரிய திருவடியை வாஹனமாகக் கொண்டிருப்பவன்; அளவிட முடியாத எல்லா ஐச்வரியமும்
மிக்கவன்; வடிவிலும் குணநலனும் இவ்வளவென்று அளவிட்டு, நெஞ்சால் கருதி பார்க்கவும்
முடியாதபடி அழகு விஞ்சியிருப்பன்; புலவர்கள் தண்மதி என்றும் வேறு பலவெனவும்,
எந்த வஸ்துவோடும் ஒப்பிட்டுச் சொல்லவொண்ணாதபடி எல்லா வஸ்துக்களுக்கும் அப்பாற்ப்பட்ட
வைலக்ஷண்யத்தையுடையவன்; இவ்வளவு அருமைகள் அனைத்தும் உடையவனாக பரமபுருஷனுடைய
திருவடிகளைத் தொழுவோம், வா நெஞ்சமே! என்றாராயிற்று.
என்னே ஒரு அற்புத சேவை
... நம் ஸ்ரீ பார்த்தசாரதி எம்பெருமான் இரத்தினாங்கி அணிந்து ஜாஜ்வல்யவமாக சேவை சாதித்தார். இரத்தினக்கல் அல்லது இரத்தினம் என்பது கனிமத் துண்டு.
இது வெட்டப்பட்டு, மெருகூட்டப்பட்டு அணிகலன் அல்லது ஏனைய அலங்கரிப்பு செய்ய பயன்படுகின்றது. நம்பெருமாள் ஸ்ரீரங்கநாதன் விசேஷ நாட்களில் இரத்தினங்கி
அணிந்து சேவை சாதிப்பது போலவே இன்று திருவல்லிக்கேணியில் ஸ்ரீபார்த்தசாரதி சேவை சாதித்தார். திரு.N.
வெங்கட்ராமன் குடும்பத்தினர் சார்பில், நவரத்தின கற்கள் பதித்த ரத்னாங்கி கவசம் சுமார்
ஒரு கோடியே 30 லட்சம் ரூபாய் மதிப்பில் காணிக்கையாக வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
At
Thiruvallikkeni Sri Parthasarathi rightly the One who is Matchless and has no
comparisons – had chinna mada veethi purappadu. The photos would describe
better the beauty of Emperuman that made the garland and ornaments look more
beautiful. On this day, everyone tried
capturing the matchless beauty of Emperuman with cameras, mobiles and with
their eyes.
