Thiruvallikkeni Thavanothsavam Sri Parthasarathi ~ day 3 : 2019

                         At Thiruvallikkeni divyadesam, immediately after 7 day theppothsavam, commenced Thavana Uthsavam ~ today 15.3.2019, is day 3 of the Uthsavam.  In the morning Sri Parthasarathi Perumal had purappadu to Thavana Uthsava bungalow – had thirumanjanam – evening purappadu inside the bungalow and then periya mada veethi purappadu.  It was Peyalwar’s Moonram Thiruvanthathi rendering in the veethi. 

Thavana uthsava bungalow had its pristine glory ~ the morning purappad is attractive in its own way – in the mornings, Perumal adorns a simple single rose garland – today it was rather unusual yellow-rose combined garland, that attracted not only bees, also all bakthas – He was mesmerizing this morning .. .. ~ and what else in life, than uttering the various names of Sriman Narayana.  Sri Peyalwar suggests   us  : -

நாமம் பலசொல்லி நாராயணா என்று *

நாமங்கையால் தொழுதும் நன்னெஞ்சே. - வா,* மருவி

மண்ணுலகமுண்டுமிழ்ந்த வண்டறையும் தண்டுழாய்*

கண்ணனையே  காண்க நங்கண்.

பேயாழ்வாரின்  அமுத வரிகள் :  ஸ்ரீமன் நாராயணின்  திருநாமங்களைச் சொல்லி, அழகிய கையினாலே, அவனையே நாம் தொழுவோம்.  வண்டுகள்  ஒலிக்கும்  குளிர்ந்த திருத்துழாய் மாலையையுடையவனுமான, பூமி முதலிய லோகங்களை  உண்டு உமிழ்ந்த, திவ்யஸ்ரீ கண்ணபிரானை மட்டுமே நமது கண்கள் காணட்டும்.

Sri Peyalwar guides us by asking his Heart to praise Sriman Narayana with affection, reciting His many names.  There is no other way to salvation than folding our hands and praying to the Lord Krishna adorning thulasi garland containing humming bees. The Lord who swallowed the Universe and remade the earth is the only worthy reason for our eyes. 

Today, at Thiruvallikkeni, there was purappadu in the morning to Thavana uthsava bungalow, thirumanjanam, evening purappadu inside and later periya mada veethi purappadu.   Here are some photos taken during the morning  purappadu.
